Quagga vereint TripHop und JazzRock, düster und Disco, Schwarz und Weiß, passt zu Rotwein und Buch im Literaturcafé, wie auch zu Gras und ordentlich abSteppen im Club. Dabei ist kein Konzert wie das andere, denn es passt sich an und bleibt sich dabei treu. Ein Wunder der Evolution.
Wiedergeboren in Bandgestalt hat das Quagga ein ruhiges Gemüt, bleibt aber ein wildes Tier. Und das Quagga ist mehr als Synergie: Es sind auch die einzelnen Teile. Und es wächst: ein vielschichtiger Sänger und Lyrizist (Behnam Moghaddam, verspannt durch Funk und Fernsehen), ein exzellenter Holzbläser und FreiMusiker (Kimo Eiserbeck, Sanft bis Dampf in allen Gassen) geeint durch Beats des Algorhythmikers (Michael Paetz, ordnet Sounds rhythmisch auf einer Zeitachse). Unterstützung erfährt das Unternehmen durch wohlig treibende Bässe (Laurent Vianes, Masseur der höheren Ebene) und einer warmen klaren Stimme (Dennis Luis Fortes, der Ruhepol mit Tanzvermögen).

A special kind of zebra is the eponym of a special musical project. The torso of this extinct animal connects the head of a zebra with brown limps. Accordingly, this project merges subversive with constructive ideas: A distinct voice accompanied by melancholic soundscapes, jazzy horns and warm beats.
