A small freebie for you lovely people.  A simple song I wrote a while back about heartbreak and moving on.

BIOGRAPHY

In her music Jasmin Pearl has chosen to be pure with a loaded eclectic sound. Jasmin Pearl's songs show influences from amongst others Demi Lovato and Elly Goulding, Michael Jackson and Rihanna.

Jasmin Pearl is the pseudonym for Dutch Singer Songwriter Ingeborg Oosterhuis. She is the down to earth girl next door, with a great passion for music. As a child  Ingeborg can't sit still or stop singing: she joins children's choirs and knows what she wants. She gets the music at an early age from her family in Groningen (Netherlands), her mother, brothers, cousins , they all have music running through their veins. And her father, he is a grateful listener.





Kid from the Eighties:
Singing, dancing, study, work
During High school Ingeborg sings in different cover, hiphop and funk bands. She auditions for a new girl group by Dutch producer Peter van Asten and makes it to the final 6. As a teenager and kid from the eighties, she sings and dances her way through life whenever she has the chance.

Her parents like to see some certainty in the lives of their children, so she chooses the sensible path of study and office career. A couple of events affect the way Ingeborg's sees life, a traffic incident, tragic loss of a friend and a broken relationship.... For a while she keeps her creativity on stage during evening hours and weekends.

In 2013 Ingeborg shakes off old shackles. She decides to give her career in music and entertainment as a singer and songwriter a serious chance. At the same time she moves to Switzerland, following her partner. 

She takes on the matching artistic identity of Jasmin Pearl, with a small wink to her favorite Asian flavored tea. Fully committed she has been working hard to further develop her  songs and skills towards a professional level.





The first results of her hard work have become clear. Jasmin Pearl sings as backing vocalist for different pop singers amongst others Jesse Ritch, and Patric Scott. Also she’s  bin involved in different projects with the Jason Boon Bigband and on Swiss National Television. 

Quantum Soul Songwriting Camp
In the meantime Songwriter Jasmin Pearl has partnered up with songwriting camp Quantum Soul. Jasmin Pearl,  emerging producer Arizona Stoneheart and David Cache together form the heart of the songwriting camp Quantum Soul. Together with  a group of international Musicians, beat makers, and top-line writers they create Radio ready music productions.

Team Quantum Soul and Jasmin Pearl developed and pitched Jasmin Pearl’s first Song Higher Love for the Swiss Preselection of the Eurovision Song Contest. The song Higher Love received a lot of media coverage especially in the Dutch Media.
