Jacob Millar's rework explores an experimental collection of percussive layers that are engaging and complicated but allow the core components of the original track to comfortably ride along. A host of carefully crafted effects and ambient sounds intertwine with varying swings in rhythm creating a dynamic sound that lives and breathes with every re-introduction of the core sub rhythm. Jacob Millar has developed a unique production style that is continuously evolving and this remix marks the beginning of his solo journey.

The EP closes out in appropriate fashion with Sleepy Cat's own revisit to his original. The song as a whole is dropped to a deeper level, with the vocals pitched down and synths carefully smoothed out at lower registers. All paths point down to cavernous hallways lined with reverberating sounds of a killer bass line that will ignite any dancefloor. Sleepy Cat's signature percussive beats slice their way through a popping kick that drives the track towards a host of eclectic environmental soundscapes gradually progressing towards the main drop.

Bogtrotter Bio
The Minneapolis native BogTroTTeR has set roots in Denver and has been melting crowds throughout United States, Australia, and Canada since 2009. Through complex percussions and growling rhythms, BogTroTTeR’s diverse collage of original compositions challenges the scope of modern day psychedelic bass music. His sound pushes the limits through his own unique mixture of glitch-hop, breakbeats, and psy-bass with a dark, swampy twist. Murky bass lines and terrestrial synthesizers are just a few things contributing to the lustrous sound field amalgamated by BogTroTTeR.

He has quickly become a favorite at festivals such as Infrasound, Lucidity and last years’ Tipper and Friends’ Full Moon Gathering; inspiring a myriad of listeners to tread deep into his sound field, united by lustrous melodies. BogTroTTeR has six releases creating complex terrestrial soundscapes on legendary Shanti Planti, Merkaba, and Addictech Records.

The 5-track EP combines Haquin's multi-layered & organic beats with a number of vocalists, starting with the rhymes of Atlantan rapper on the title track, 'Rever', Ellie McCracken on 'Confinement', and @sound-eyera on the more positive and epiphanic score, 'Indwelling'. Here is a beautiful new tune which came into being quite spontaneously like a flash of noetic lightning in the wake of some beautifully serene experiences in Seattle and the Cascade mountains.

It was a lot of fun and a real honor to feature vocal contributions from my friends Theo and Amma (Entheo - https://soundcloud.com/entheo), as well as Theo's guitar and a few percussive samples from my friend Jules O'Keefe.

I haven't given out a new free track in a while, and I think this is a breakthrough and a new direction for me, so I am going out on a limb and allowing this tune to spread how it may, in good faith that it will touch as many lives as possible.
