One of our favourite releases last year came from Noah Lyas & Eafhm. Their Rhythms And Thoughts release on Oslated is specially crafted and deep sounding.

Garden Talks 05 - Noah Lyas & Eafhm

For our fourteenth installement we've invited Noah Lyas, an artist passionate about making refined ceramics and composing deep atmospheric rhythms.

Malii grew up in a house where music was always on because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts.

Later in life, around the age of twenty, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Malii started to make his own music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.

The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas, his pseudonym, and the beginning of his record label called “Profundo Collective”.

Well known in our community, Cauê is a talented techno artist from São Paulo, Brazil, known for his well-crafted atmospheric and hypnotic sounds.

Over the past few years, he has built a solid discography spanning across renowned labels such as Affin, Khoros, Dorian Gray, Dosis and, more recently, his own project Ogan Records. In recent years, Cauê's active membership of the deep techno scene has cemented his reputation as a highly consistent and prolific producer, more recently focusing on live sessions for podcasts.

This time he dives deep into his ambient and experimental side, giving us an hour of melancholic, dark, dense and ethereal ambient that not only explores carefully designed atmospheres and complex grooves, but also uses silence as a musical instrument.

Sie stammt aus der Grenzregion zwischen Polen, Tschechien und Deutschland.

Bereits in ihrer Jugend begann sie, sich durch Kunst und Musik von konservativen Strukturen zu lösen. Ihr Ziel war es, rebellische Kreativität auszuleben und Räume für interkulturellen Austausch zu schaffen.

Für Emmi ist die Musiklandschaft nicht nur ein sicherer Ort, um ihre Gefühle auszudrücken, sondern auch ein sozialer Raum, der Party, Subkultur und Künstler miteinander verbindet.

Seit sie 2019 begann, Musik zu produzieren und sich mit Synthesizern zu beschäftigen, hat dies ihr Leben mit Freude und neuen Perspektiven bereichert.

She comes from the border region between Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany.

From a young age, she began to break free from conservative structures through art and music. Her goal was to embrace rebellious creativity and create spaces for intercultural exchange.

For Emmi, the music scene is not only a safe space to express her emotions but also a social environment that connects parties, subcultures, and artists.

Since she started producing music and exploring the world of synthesizers in 2019, it has brought her joy and opened up new perspectives in her life.

One last mix to end the year. When Svreca sent me this set, he could not have known what it would mean to me. I have spent so much time looking back lately, reliving old discussions and re-imagining moments passed, often lamenting how much was lost along the way. In just under three hours this mix communicates the flow of years. An archived recording from a special memory, it reminds me that the passage of time is beautiful even in what it fades away. Listening to it, I become lost completely, as though I am everywhere at once.
