"My name is Craft and welcome to Feed The Raver podcast, episode 32. This week we have a live performance recorded on tape by Enrico Bozzato of Air Protection Office from Berlin.

Born and raised in Venice, he is an audiovisual performer. There is no tracklist for this set. It's all improvised.

Bio: 
Air Protection Office is an electronic music project born in Berlin in 2011, from the collaboration between Enrico Bozzato and Mauro Martinuz. A.P.O doesn’t fit into any of the strictly defined music genre, it’s an “open project”. Enrico Bozzato (Bos), born and raised in North Italy, is the main producer. He is a composer, sound designer, installation artist and audiovisual performer. After attending a technical school (Electronics and Telecommunications) he decided to deepen his interests in Visual arts attending the University of Visual and Preforming Arts in Venice (Italy). There he took part at courses that allowed him to pursue his interests and try new approaches in the sound and visual areas. This mixture of Technical and Artistic education has a considerable prominence on the things he does. He collaborates with Transfert studio (sound studio) and with the visual artist Martin Romeo. Enrico’s main projects are A.P.O, bild and Dört. Mauro Martinuz (Italy) Co-founder of the project, sound engineer, soundtrack composer for cinema and contemporary theater, owner of the Transfert studio and founder of NEDAC collective. Even if not always present in the composition process, he plays an important role in the project expecially in the post production task.

I/Y: Berlin based duo of Irakli Kiziria and Yacoub Chakarji, which was founded in 2011 and instantly gained success at the local underground scene. They founded vinyl only imprint named I/Y as well and released their debut EP in 2013. I/Y has also contributed to labels such as Fracture, Dynamic Reflection, Inkblots, 47 and their tracks have been remixed by artists such as Inigo Kennedy, Acronym, Headless Horseman and Tripeo.

They are also behind one of Berlin’s stand out party series “Staub” taking place at About Blank with unannounced secret line-ups.

I/Y-s dj sets are saturated with variety of hard and raw sounds bringing their own constantly developing vision to the dance floor.

For the second Inveins birthday, we have picked the label founder of Silent Season, that we always followed with great inspiration for our project.
He's a model for all of us in every sides, musically and humanly.

Jamie McCue is a DJ and label head who lives a quiet life in the forests of British Columbia, Canada. He is the creative director and label head at Silent Season, a music label influenced by his natural surroundings. The sounds of Silent Season grew out of the connection between deep ethereal music and the rain forests of Vancouver Island. A soundtrack to some of the most radiant and aural beauty in the world. Jamie crafts long building sets, allowing the music to become a journey and unfold slowly. His sound explores the deep, psychedelic nature of techno, saturated with atmospheric ambience and dub sensibilities.

Now, this one is technically cheating a little bit... It's not quite a mix but a live set but who really cares? 

Anyway, Alex Albrecht is a producer and dj from Australia. He releases music under the guise of Melquíades and has done so to great acclaim for Scissor & Thread and his own Analogue Attic imprint. He also produces music alongside Sean La'Brooy as part of a dynamic duo who have appeared on Night Tide, Voyage Recordings and Butter Sessions to name a few. 

Alex has a sound which is fundamentally rooted in the deeper fringes of dance and electronic music. Drawing upon influences from the natural world his music could be described as a subtle blend of balearic intricacies, deep house, electronica and beyond. His sound is reminiscent of the nineties in which breaks and the ethereal ruled supreme under the principle of free thinking dance music and psychedelics. 

With a recent EP for Scissor & Thread and a new collaborative release for Apollo Records he is having a busy summer. 

Presently on tour, this mix was recorded as a live set from somewhere along the way and it really is very special indeed.

Just recently THNTS has discovered electronic music, before he was mostly interested in Hardcore, Black- and Doom-metal. A record collector and enthusiast he especially appreciated the created atmosphere. Soon he began to find the similarities in atmosphere and sound also in experimental kinds of techno.His DJ-sets resemble this development: sometimes driving, sometimes dreamy, but always telling a tale. He is also involved in the booking of event series apathy, ESCH and most recently Elements in ://about blank.
