A rough little cover of Frank Sinatra's "Fly me to the moon" (also it's covered in Bayonetta, and if we're being honest that's what inspired me to cover it in the first place... heh)

Commodore Charlie's cover of the theme song to cult classic Australian TV show 'Round The Twist' is a cover the has originality and yet screams nostalgia for anyone who lived in the 90's in Australia. The single was recorded and produced on a $0 budget and showcases the bands diverse sound as it features overdriven heavy riffs, guitar solos, energetic screaming as well as softer vocals and soundscapes.

The song has become a well known feature of the bands live setlist with Good Intent describing the performance as “… [cutting] to the meat and potatoes with direct, hard rock” and “… just a hell of fun.”

‘Round The Twist’ is the fourth Commodore Charlie single, and longer EP will soon follow.

So after listening and playing this to death the last month, I thought I'd share my take on 'Salina' by Triple One. It's a different sound to theirs (forgiveness prease) but the song has really helped me through a super rough time. And it's been something different for me to have a hand at covering- which has helped me in more ways than I can name.

I sing and play guitar mostly - super fortunate to be able to play by ear, and that's what's helped me learn other instruments too (piano is my next go to!)
I have a gene-deep love for classic rock & metal (thank you Dad) 🤘 So, I like combining the two and making acoustic versions of heavier songs. ☺️ I liek most genres though, I'll just dabble in doing anything acoustically. 
Right now, I'm giving more of a hand at recording and producing my own stuff. I'm hoping with each track I get better- but it remains to be seen 🙏😆
