This episode is dropping on Valentine's Day, so we’re gonna talk about love. Although I haven't finished the book "All About Love" by bell hooks yet, I had to share how this book is already changing and reinforcing many of my ideas about love. I share the three things that stood out the most for me this far. This is not a video about romantic love, it is a critique of how we have been taught love, and how breaking out of White Supremacist, patriarchal, capitalist ideas will make us all better people. </p?

I talk my understandings of what's going on, what scares me about the timing of her detainment, and hopes for her safe return home (timestamp in the description for this discussion). What to do on a mental health day to rejuvenate and not vegetate 
E.N.J.O.Y it!
Emotional to do list - what are all the things keeping you from a good nights rest? List them out 
Nap! - naps are empirically supported when it comes to reducing stress. Take a short sleep break to rest and recharge. If you’re not a napper, take this time to knock out something on that emotional to do list. 
Joy activity - get outside and do one thing that brings you joy. 
Outline what you need to not burn out - how can i tell when i am not functioning at my best? How can i tell when work is taking over my life? How can i notice stress before it gets critical? What am I unmotivated to do? (Do I have to do it?)
Your favorite thing - end your day with one of your favorite things. Whatever it is, make space to end your mental health day with a dopamine boost!

How layered our dreams can be.... I wrote the song inspired by watching that. Hope you like
