AZIZ returns to NYMFIELD with his second EP called 'Soul'. Four smooth deep house cuts making sure you're warm during these upcoming winter months. The EP starts with the title track 'Soul'. A tune with attention to detail within its layers. This in combination with solid beats, heavy bass and soul soothing chords, makes the tune true to its name. 'Higher' is a lush deep house record which finds its inspiration more into the mid-00's era of deep house. More techy and tighter beats in combination with deep pads and lush chords. Advancing into the EP we encounter the soul uplifting 'I Wish I Knew'. A bit reminiscent of summer and its glory days, this record is filled with synths, catchy vocals & that old school groove. Rounding off the EP we have 'Can't You See'. A proper mellow deep house cut. While the EP holds his basis within the deeper sounds, AZIZ brings multiple vibes & energy levels to the table. Emerging from Nijmegen’s vibrant underground, Querry Veldt delivers a sonic downpour with his debut on Rominimal Collective.

Cloudburst EP unfolds across three finely sculpted tracks, each carrying its own atmospheric weight while staying rooted in groove.

The album opens with a shimmering tension, gradually releasing into rolling rhythms and subtle textures that echo the EP’s title — a storm breaking open. The middle cut dives deeper, where hypnotic percussion and fluid basslines create a sense of suspended momentum. Closing the triptych, the final track balances introspection with drive, leaving the listener drenched in mood yet lifted by pulse.

With Cloudburst EP, Querry Veldt proves that his sound — both precise and emotive — is ready to ripple far beyond Nijmegen.

The seventh episode (S02) of Junked Groove feels like one of the most personal ones yet. I’ve packed in a lot of unreleased material from myself (Junky Palms) and from our label family (GgDex, AljoMen) — most of it coming out this fall on both vinyl and digital! As always, we blended it with a couple of our favorites, Tour-Maubourg and Lay-Far, shaping a sunny summer cocktail that’s just as perfect for the dancefloor as it is for a lazy afternoon on the terrace.
