My latest contribution to the Ambient Online series. Includes echo-y, reverb-y vocals and electronic beeps and melodies. The title is a paraphrasing of one of the chapters from Ray Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles" which has an anti war message.

I like to make simple ambient music. This is slow music, worth giving a bit of your time to, especially on headphones. Influences - Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Art of Noise, Brian Eno, FAX and WARP labels and more recently Tetsu Inoue, Susumu Yakota and Waki.

mimetic64 is a an italian producer based in Milan. When I was 14 and trying to learn to play guitar no one told me about A440 tuning. I knew how to tune the guitar string to string, but wasn't aware that records and what I heard on the radio had a standard. I soon became frustrated trying to play along with what I heard and began making up my own music. Still at it.
