Quintessentials welcomes back Ralph Session, whose previous drop ‘For The House Heads’ is still turning in crates and sets worldwide. This time, he dives into peak deep territory with 'Mad Deep'. The name says it all. It’s a masterclass in heavy yet soulful, hypnotic House. Reuniting with LA’s rising star Juliet Mendoza after their much-loved collaboration on Freerange Records last year. Her sultry voice and commanding presence just brings the title track to life. If that wasn’t enough, we are so excited to include a masterful remix from House music legend Jerome Sydenham!  It’s dense, rhythmic, and uncompromising cool. Finally, 'Sway' closes the Ep with a late-night super sweet yet driving House tune that stays true to the underground spirit. Built for selectors, dancers, and true Deep House heads heavy rotation is guaranteed. There’s deep and then there’s Mad Deep!

B, also known as Hously, is a DJ and selector — a crate-digging music lover whose musical approach is rooted in groove, beats, jazz, and house sounds. Her style is an exploration of textures that awaken the body, connect with the dancefloor, and activate deep listening. Through rhythmic layers and immersive atmospheres, she creates sonic experiences that oscillate between the subtle and the vibrant.

She has collaborated on collective projects such as Mujeres Vinileras and House Salad Music, and has been featured on international DJ platforms like Gladys Palmera, Spiritualized, Radio Electrónica, and Housepedia Music. Her journey has led her to perform at emblematic parties and iconic venues such as Departamento, Japan, Femme la Nuit, and Soul in Beats. Always in search of new sounds, she continues to explore and evolve from her home base in Mexico.

Welcome to September 2025, and back to the Producers Vinyl Mix Series.  We’re feeling quite good about ourselves today, because we landed yet another legend in the making, Melbourne Australia’s DJ Swella! He’s delivered a delightfully deep and soulful hour of mood music for your end of summer listening pleasure.  

DJ Swella released his debut 12” EP in late 2022, which soon became a sought after record. Simply
titled ‘DJ Swella EP’, it reflected his love of raw house music, was released on his own label
‘Pleasure Trax’ and self distributed. After the first pressing quickly sold out, mainly in his home
country Australia, Rotterdam’s Clone Distribution reached out and secured a re-press to distribute
throughout the UK, Europe, America and the rest of the Northern Hemisphere. The re-press then
also quickly sold out at stores such as Phonica and Juno.
His follow up EP, ‘DJ Swella EP 2’, was released in July 2024, once again quickly sold out world
wide and has since been re-pressed multiple times.
DJ Swella’s music has featured on various platforms such as radio stations NTS, Kiosk Radio &
PBSFM as well as go-to Youtube channels Gazzz696 & Maslow Unknown.
As a DJ, his sets traverse from providing a nod to the roots of New York, Chicago and Detroit to
an array of gems from around the globe. Flowing seamlessly between variations of house,
whether it be deep and soulful or uplifting, to disco, Italo, boogie & funk, he loves nothing more
than connecting with the dancers in front of him.
With more releases planned for 2025 DJ Swella is excited for where this momentum will take him.
