Title track "Mango smoothy" delivers a long consistent almost non evolving intro, until the surprise of funky melodic riffs & pads swell into Trumpets & Saxophones expressing an endless dance in pure simplicity & precise musicianship.

"Surf your eyes" eludes to dreamy pads & a Bass-line tied to those morning after-hours, when dancers are purely relying on the groove's persistence into the sunrise, in order to soak the sun & go directly surfing.

"Red Flip" The switch to wake up into full euphoria, but with a nostalgic romantic melancholy, driving lucid textures & a stunning melodic journey from the beginning to the end while emphasising the signature Low frequencies to uplift the dance.

Premiere : ALVA - A Feeling

No stranger to the FH premiere in-tray is our favourite haired Australian, Jad & The (@jad-lee) who takes a ride out of town for a  trip, @downbythelake. Helmed by Smallville's Julius Steinhoff, the imprint makes it's forth foray into the sonisphere with this four tracked introspective beauty, with none other than Moomin on remix duty.

The Beats of No Nation co-founder delivers three cuts which shimmer on the surface, while getting down deep enough to look what lies beneath. Despite it's nonchalant title, 'That's Cool' sports a pensive loop, accompanied by equally as earnest textures, all beautifully counterbalanced with luscious percussion. Squinting over Taupo you can just make out where the blazing ether melts into the icey blue. It was worth the ride.

Returning to French label Happiness Therapy is Vancouver based producer @jesse-bru, with his first LP in 9 years ! Influenced by early 90’s hip-hop’s use of samples, Jesse Bru’s sample-heavy music production style is highlighted in this diverse 15 tracks release spanning from Anthemic Summery House to Jazzy Emotional Electro.

This double vinyl album welcomes you with a dreamy opening track, leading into 3 heady raw houses tracks with jazzy keys, high paced breaks, and nostalgic trance chords. On the flip side, there are 3 breathtaking tracks ranging from soulful uplifting breaks to introspective emo electro demonstrating Jesse Bru’s extensive knowledge of a diversity of genres.

On the second vinyl we get to hear the deeper side of the release with 4 deep after hours tracks that vary from minimal dub vibes, bumping chicago house to astral drum and bass. On the reverse side closing out the LP are 4 tracks with 2 powerful female vocal driven tracks with deep melancholic grooves and an uplifting anthemic house track to finish off the LP.

The Coast LP is set for release on December 11, 2020 and will come as a double vinyl release with silver pantone cover and an exclusive holographic sticker.
