There‘s no big introduction needed for Berlins DJ legend @delfonic. With his immense knowledge and fine sense of everything Soul-music-related he’s always an asset to the dancefloor. Together with the Toy Tonics family he brought us a variety of funky Disco Edits published on the Illegal Jazz series over the last years. For the latest Aspik Tape he presents us a truly special mix consisting only of yet unpublished own reworks of some of his favourite disco tunes.

Hudd Traxx makes label history with its first-ever full-length album, Dial Me In, from long-time affiliate Iron Curtis. Aptly, if it wasn’t going to be label boss Eddie Leader, Curtis is the natural choice — having contributed more tracks across more releases than any other artist in the label’s history. Across ten tracks, he delivers a journey that moves between deep house, ambient textures, and eclectic grooves, flowing effortlessly from club-ready jams to home listening moments. The warm Speak to Me Baby (Ambient Mix) opens proceedings before the synthy, Berlin-tinged 1Up {premiered here} sets an understated groove. Roxy and the title track Dial Me In bring rich chords and deep house warmth, while lead single Troubles delivers a hypnotic, low-slung sway. 

Tensione strips things back with bass-heavy, breakbeat energy, and Bodycode rides a beautifully deep house pulse. The final stretch expands the palette with the floaty Dance Inc., the rolling Signal Signal, and closing cut Slipstream, tying the journey together in style. A landmark LP for Hudd Traxx — diverse, soulful, and built for both the dancefloor and beyond.

Ritope, a DJ and producer, uses music as a means of expression. After studying sound engineering at Point Blank in London, driven by a desire to share and experiment, he founded the Polyritmica collective. Upon returning to Rome in 2024, he founded Singularity, a label and event organizer that blends sci-fi imagery, hypnotic techno, and collective energy, where a true community is born: a space where music and freedom of expression are paramount, and where everyone can lose themselves and find themselves in the sounds he offers.

RE - MONTHLY TECHNO REVIEW EP 51 by NIMA with RITOPE

Last Saturday I was invited to Bermudafunk, the local free radio station in Mannheim/Germany, for their Clubnight show. After a short 15-minute interview talk, I recorded my mix live the Feuerwache Mannheim studio.

Originally, the host DJ Jascha was set to close the show after 1h30, but after one track he asked me to jump back in - so we ended up playin'  back 2 back til the very end.
