Tom has been hosting the renowned Tech Talk events and is a booker for Berlin's cherished Paloma, so he knows what to tweak in his studio and how to get a floor working. Dubbed out flows and sweet R&B melodies get a pumping rework with 303 bass and deep pads, hinting at a sound that is to become his future trademark style.

'I Stayed Up Too Late Again' is part of a VA releasing on Naarm/Melbourne based label, Club Elevate. 

The VA features the likes of Cybernet, Fruit Ninja, Hedchef, Lucas Boston, Marli, Prizefight, Willem and Yollks & Hedchef. As a cohort, the project sounds sonically cohesive, whilst each track remains creatively unique in its own right - a true representation of the diverse and dynamic nature of contemporary electronic music. 

Marli's use of a percussive framework, futuristic sounds, a drawn out vocal sample and deeper, darker rhythmic tones provide the foundations of the track, whilst still remaining true to her sound, exploring complex emotion throughout. 

All proceeds for this VA will go towards T2KO - a not-for-profit charity based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia which aims to raise awareness and help those battling a rare bone cancer called Osteosarcoma.

“In this mix I only included Brazilian artists who are re-designing pop culture in our country. I tried to destroy every single vocal by blending them with hard drums and baile funk samples in order to re-signify their melodies and feelings. 

This is the closest representation I can imagine of a post-apocalyptic Brazilian scene. I'm pretty sure that in the end of the times, everything will become +150bpm.”

WNDRLST is Techno DJ & Producer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands - 25 years old with his roots in the industrial and dark scene. Over the last 3 years, he has been uncovering his personal style and experimenting with a variety of sounds to create a unique but hard-hitting vibe. Having released multiple EPs such as "Path of Destruction" and "Lost and Found" on great labels like Otomo Trax and Industrial Philharmonics with support from e.g. Dax J and Paula Temple - he is definitely on his way to becoming a great asset to the techno scene.
