a little bit about ivika if you’re interested— 
ivika volkov is an original character of mine who I have grown and raised adjacent to my online persona since I was 11. i don’t know how to speak Russian, and im not indulged in their culture, but when I think of ivika I think of the beauty that must be the cold broad lands of russia. consider this music from ivika, not from me. he’s an eccentric man who has moved all across america because he had no choice, and now he makes music like he’s stood in every building on earth, walked every sidewalk, seen every street sign, traveled every town, and cruised every city. he hasn’t even gotten close, but he’s farther than the average person. he not only walks through lands, but his fingers walk through pads in a delicate, weird and at the same time godly timbre that can’t be fully imagined unless you’re him. this is a compilation of his favorite cook-ups from songs that have lectured him in and out of childhood. he compensates to the preaches of these russian melodies by teaching them in gorgeously misordered monologues for the kin after him to hear. i won’t tell you all about him, or what I used to, or WILL make him out to be, but i will tell you all that you need to know about him right now. as long as you’re willing to listen to him. if you do, i must thank you.
