Kapoor - a downtempo music producer and DJ from Poland. He took his first production steps a few years ago in the trance genre under a different alias, and it was only an accidental trip to a party, where he heard slower sounds,that directed his current musical path. Nowadays Kapoor is one of Poland’s most exciting downtempo music DJs. His sets start out nice and slow, and rise to intense levels, capturing the audience on a trip through carefully selected sounds full of strong groove. Over the last few years he has built a solid reputation in the downtempo music scene. His musical style stands out from the typical perception of downtempo music, his sets are full of dynamics and strong sounds - usually associated withfaster types of electronic music. He skillfully combines downtempo productions with slowed techno tracks, which is why his set is always a unique experience. Kapoor has released three full albums and his music was released on many famous labels: @akumandra, @monada-project, @trndmusik, @sofa-beats-1, @art-vibes-music, @baikalnomads,@ohxalarecords, @otakerecords, @wildfang-music, Souq Records, @casacaos, Kottektiv Liebe or @cafedeanatolia. Forbidden Fruits is the fourth "Various Artist" compilation by KataHaifisch. Over a length of 10 songs, 13 artists tell us their musical interpretation about the curse and blessing of being a human on earth. With their work, they create a possibility to make paradise perceptible. They remind us with clubby downtempo sound of the joys and burdens of being able to recognising oneself and ones environment. The Garden of Eden is a symbol of childlike freedom. Everything is allowed, only the fruits from the tree of knowledge are taboo. But through these forbidden fruits, man attained self-knowledge. Recognises the difference between good and evil and becomes fully aware of himself. The exile from the heavenly paradise offers the chance to create heaven on earth. Music is one of the ways to realise this privilege.

Here is the small interview with Akasatki, to know better our new family member:

1. How did you get started in DJing, and what led you to pursue it as a career?

My music crash with electronic beats started in 2016 and since 2019 im sharing my moods through mixing and pitching different sounds into one ride in order to awaken the souls.

2. How would you describe your music style as a DJ, and what sets your style apart from others in the industry?

I'm in love with progressive groovy dark waves with organic&tribal touches and I find interesting to play with mixing musculine drive energies together with feminine sexy sounds.

3. How do you think social media and technology have impacted the way DJs and producers interact with their fans and audiences?

From my point of view the biggest impact social media brought is the opportunity to connect more creative minds together through online collaborations and possibility to share arts with music lovers all around the world by using it instruments. 

4. What do you hope to achieve with your music, and how do you see yourself evolving as an artist in the future?

I would love to dig deeper into the process of creating and experimenting with new sounds and keep developing my own ways of communication through it.
