What an honor to add my acoustic guitars to this collaboration with ace electric guitarist, keyboardist, and producer Seagull, Soundcloud's Poet Laurette Peter, Soundcloud's Poet of the piano, Debra Buesking, and vocalists Clara, and Snowflake.  With this visionary and epic trilogy, we explore the human condition and the choices we must make that will determine our destiny as a race.  It is a longer work but a rewarding listen if taken as a whole, but can still be appreciated in smaller bites if time doesn't allow a nearly 16 minute commitment.  The first segment is "Lost" until 4:55, "Lament is from 4:56-10:14, and "Ghost of a Dragon" until the end.

It was created exclusively using the now obsolete Camel Alchemy Mobile app.

It was my favorite and first app that I used when returning to music after a 14 year break from Blink Twice. (abandoning hardware and selling my gear)

Alchemy only had a 4 track sequencer, but I made the most of it. This particular piece uses 2 tracks for synths, 1 track for percussion, and 1 track with the voice sample. What Alchemy excelled in was it's incredible synth engine and ability to morph sounds in realtime with it's x-y axis screen control. I fully went all out with this feature on this track, resulting in a similar effect to knob twisting on modular synths.

I greatly miss this app, but Apple bought out Camel, and as a result they did not update this app. They instead included an extremely watered down version of the Alchemy synth engine in their Garageband app.

Blink Twice - Analogue Computer

This is another song where the instrumentalization was finished first and I then looked for a suitable vocal. I found it again at looperman.com. Alex Pielka's acapella singing on her Song ‚Authenticity‘ fits perfectly, also in terms of mood. Thank you Alex for your great vocal mix.
