@freq444 are two Brussels based cousins who found a common love for electronic music. After individual musical wanderings in Saint Petersburg, Seoul, Paris and Amsterdam, Laurens and Alex, who grew up a stone's throw from each other, found themselves confined in their small Belgian village. As a dj/producer duo they travel the lines between bass music, breaks and IDM while not shying away from showing the heavy influence they got early on from jungle and dubstep. With tension-heavy dj sets and absorbing live performances, any setting is fair game.

'JW12' is #2 track of EP, throwing some killer kicks into the mix, accompanied by a sharp drums that firmly establishes the «Dispersion» EP within bass culture. 
Atmospheric, but never esoteric, ‘Dispersion’ is about to make waves.

SF’s Pteron returns to Ommaya Records following last year’s split EP Egosphere with kk.Shucko, offering an immense excavation of tension and rhythmic mystery on Alpheratz. The opening’s quiet pull intensifies until it parts like a veil, revealing a meticulously sculpted deep-space landscape. “Che” and “Outer Orbit” push deeper into fog-laden percussive interplay, perfectly suited to a Bay Area warehouse. "Face Off" delivers sharp-edged, gritty bass manipulations and rhythmic shards that feel crafted for techno wayfarers in pursuit of the ever-elusive drop.

Remixes arrive from Brooklyn’s Sobolik, key member of Kindergarten Records and All Centre, and SF scene staple Oso Feo of Sutro FM, each reframing the EP for distinct underground territories. Sobolik’s take on “Alpheratz” channels the original’s tension into shimmering polyrhythms and expansive synthwork, opening the track into a luminous, trance-adjacent space, while Oso Feo’s remix of “Face Off” strips it into a low-slung, slow-burning roller that hums with restrained intensity, tailor-made for dawn-lit dance floors.
