A quiet chill jazz fusion atmosphere perhaps NuJazz with minimal percussion but a throbbing beat and electro, including one synth — a marimba sounding arp like a ticking clock — that I use in this  composition and a few new songs such as Hidden Room. Time Machine is the title track from my upcoming Time Machine EP.

With respect to H.G.Wells, I daresay that the brain, and more expansively, the mind is the best time machine of the cosmos. In fact, it created the idea of a time machine and discovered the physics that can someday engineer a time travel device. Time itself is a construct or an invention of the mind.

Our minds as time machines can instantly travel to the past — retrieving data about history and the physical world, and experiences from memory as if they happened today. Our minds can also zoom out to the future — conjuring a vision of how the world could look as a mental rehearsal, a daydream, a thought experiment, and a creative process for solving problems and making art. Or building time machines. 

We, humans, may be physically limited but our minds are not. And that gives me hope, even in the midst of chaos.

Time Machine

This track is the second track from my ep CHEMICAL. 120 BPM. 6m6s. The intro is long, but bear with it. It leads into a terrifyingly flashy and groovy tune. This was heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin and punk bands such as Primal Scream. CHEMICAL Link in Bio!

On our recent trip to Italy, one of the places we stayed was Monterosso, one of the 5 villages in Cinque Terre. From our patio, we were able to see Il Gigante looking out over the ocean. I am pleased to announce this new music collaboration, Il Gigante di Monterosso - Feat: Sergei Govorov, celebrating the beauty of Italy.  Listen to Sergei's music on Spotify and Apple Music.
Sergei Govorov completed his doctoral degree at the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow with the highest honors.  In 2022, Sergei moved to the United States.  Sergei's repertoire ranges from classical saxophone to avant-garde, jazz, and pop. He has performed over 4,000 concerts worldwide.  For the last year I have been writing music for the sax and piano duo, Govorov & De Groot.  Sergei Govorov and Britta De Groot have performed my music in Colorado and have future plans for more concerts and possible recordings.

When Noobly sent me the instrumental I was blown away with its beauty. My instant thought was that I have to come up with something as equal and meaningful. I had to write from the heart and I have always had a vivid memory of the last time I spent with a close friend a week before his passing.
 I’ve tried to paint the picture from my head into the lyrics.
There’s not a day I don’t think or mention him as it’s the third anniversary this year of his death.
He died of liver cancer that took him swiftly from this world. He left a Wife  and two beautiful young adult daughters. 
Rest in peace Andy my friend and I will never forget the laughs you gave me and support over our long 
Friendship.
