I thought I commented on this before, but man, I love this smooth groove. great collab with one of my other favourite SC artists, Jörg. this has such a nice mix and choice of instruments, all contributing to a masterful sound and feel. This is the kind of thing I wish I had done, but glad you did!!

I just wanted to try out whether I could do a Boogie. This is the outcome. Hope you like it and it gives you good energy. 

Composition-wise: The left is a consistent 1/8th Boogie base line throughout the piece and typically consisting of a lower chromatic line and an upper constant note (e.g., C0-C1-D0-C1-Eb0-C1-E0-C1). The right hand dances over this with a partly Staccato theme that is loosened up by repeated Syncopes, Delays and advanced notes. The piece starts in a joyous C and modulates over its course to the minor third and ends in the warmer (and for me richer) Eb. 

The track has been recorded on a Roland FP-90.
The Cover art was created with Stable Diffusion which I continue fuddling around with. I think it is already a far jump from my previous „Sheherazades Tale“ Cover art but still not perfect. In particular, I continue to wonder what kind of music might be played with the very peculiar arrangement of white and black keys on the keyboard.

Creating this tune, I was mostly focused on rhytmical pattern and spiced up the 4/4 Beat  with a small amount of Funk essence.
And... do scratches work, implemented in electronics?
In modern productions these are almost extinct.

Music unconsciously reflects a state of mind.

A few weeks after the accident he couldn't find the time to create new music. That's why I decided to reissue this title, which coincided with a negative episode in my life, revitalizing some sounds and eliminating others, to obtain a dark result and adding synthesizers at the end that would express something like a cry of liberation.

I hope you liked the result.

Black background (Re edited 2023)

This track is a tribute to genre which flourish in 90's, a love letter to bands like US3, Jazzmatazz, Incognito, Brand New Heavies, Groove Collective and of course Miles Davies and his marvellous "Doo-Bop".

I started working on this piece around July 2022. I've stuck on my inability to do any advanced jazz solos/improvisation and embellishments so this track ended up in my "musical drawer".
Luckily, after finishing my previous piece "Vital Signs", where I used sax VST, I shyly approached Jörg aka @joerxworx with a request to evaluate my saxophone scribbles and a proposal to finish my unrealized piece.
Jörg turned out to be a nice, understanding guy who willingly joined this project. At this point, I would like to thank him very much for this wonderful contribution to this piece, a lot of advice he gave me and a lot of patience for my slow work.
