This is little experiment for me - a revamp of an other persons track.
About 4 months ago I came across a song by Donak RV "Duo Melodica" https://soundcloud.com/donakrv/duo-melodica. I really liked it, and since I was working on the song "You Can Count on Us", I had a free nylon guitar from @heavyocitymedia Foundations on hand. I started improvising to it... and this remix/revamp was born ;) I sent Donak RV a sample and he agreed to let me perform this "devastation" of his track ;) This version is made on the basis of an MP3 file downloaded from the author's profile. A stem version is still in development.

However, there are also departures more challenging... when we observe the tree of the mind of a beloved, from which memories' leaves fall, and even the freshest, youngest cannot hold on to it. We cannot help, we can only watch how they fall...

Composing this little piece was very personal. It was combined with the realization of a fact from my immediate surroundings. I left all imperfections of my playing because of how I felt at that moment. It wasn't an improvisation, it was an interpretation of a theme that I've developed few minutes earlier. This time, I return to the realm of fantasy, where my characters, upon arriving in the North, found themselves in the dwarven mines. There, they are to meet with the Dwarf King's son, who will task them with aiding in uncovering the mystery surrounding his father's death, slain in a goblin ambush. However, before this occurs, they take part in a funeral ceremony.

To craft this piece, I utilized only the free VSTi's by ProjectSAM @projectsam: Free Orchestra 1 and 2. I've begun working on it 2 months ago... It's one of my over 30 projects in development ;)

I'm posting this here as a curiosity and... a sorts of warning. Artificial Intelligence has entered the sphere of music creation. And it hits with enormous power...

This is a song that my wife (she's German Language teacher) generated using Suno.ai in about 2 minutes, just giving it a prompt to generate a rock song. Its lyrics come from a really cheesy song included in a children's textbook. She just wanted the song to sound more accessible to today's kids. She didn't actually realize what this song would cause. And it left me completely shocked and actually questioning the point of further activities in music... 

My wife, by generating this song, gave the A.I. ​​a lot of scope for its own "imagination". She did not specify the structure of the song or the elements to be included in it - which can be set by entering appropriate comments in the song's text. What surprised me is how wisely the A.I. ​​approached this task, how it determined what should be included in this song. A huge surprise for me is the second part of the song, where the A.I., having no more lyrics, created something incredible, using elements such as triplet, half-time and returning when we expect the song to have ended. What's even more surprising is that the A.I. ​​understood that it was a song in German and was inspired by German-speaking bands such as Die Ärzte and used the typical German song structure, including the sound of the vocals.

Yes, I know, I do music for fun, but I still don't know what to do next... I'm thinking how it will impact the music industry? Let's talk about it in the comments and remember - let's be polite.

So... this is my first attempt at A.I. generated music. I tried this on www.udio.com. However, it is not completely created by me from scratch, but for this first time I've used it, I took a fragment of someone else's song, which stuck in my heart with its mood (I am an incurable romantic). I really regretted that it didn't have a beginning and an end, so... I generated my own. The track came out really awesome, so I've decided to share it with You. It really resonate with me... And now someone say that this A.I. generated music does not evoke emotions...

However, I still don't know what to do with this technology. There is no return to the state before it appeared, so we will have to live with it. But will I use it... I don't think so, at least not yet. For now I can't say its human influenced creation. Until they turn it into something like Crea or Leonardo, where a human influences every aspect of the work being created, or even gives A.I. directives on what it should look like, feeding it with your ideas, this is not the technology for me... Or maybe I don't know how to use it...

But time passes and sooner or later such technology will appear. Then we will be able to put aside our plugins and DAWs and create/generate whatever we dream of at the speed of thought  :)

This song has a metaphor I've used once before. in the track Autumn in the Wind. In that song we are "Standing waves to winds of harm... In this song we are too "... standing waves"
I love the idea of us being standing waves to poisonous mind sets. So, a standing wave is a sound wave that cancels another wave out because of the relevant symmetry between themselves and the surroundings and we get silence instead of the two sounds. So when using it now I'm empowering us as the standing waves to hate, as hate is all created on our heads just like love is...

I just listened to a very interesting piece on the radio about emotional intelligence. Since becoming a parent I've obviously thought a lot about this and generally consider myself to be that. Parenting is the single biggest thing that has challenged my EI in my adult life although seeing how my kids act a mirror of me is very enlightening indeed...
