Martin Atjazz & Jullian Gomes have put together what is an incredible electronic dance album accompanied by some of the industries most sought after vocalists. They have made an album that Martin describes as 'us on a plate'. The styling behind this sonic masterpiece begins with an instrumental song entitled 'Poor Man', a song reflecting the hardships of surviving on making emotional and deep dance music. Then we're straight into the vocal realm with 'Philosophy', this soulful slider with vocals performed by Osunlade outlines the difficulties in relationships within the music industry and further afield when people maybe not be sharing the same 'Philosophy'. From soulful vocal drenched songs such as 'Turn Back To You' featuring house hero Robert Owens play through, we start to really get a grounded feel to what this album is about, 'Two guys making music for the right reasons'. Dark and edgy songs like 'White Rose' & 'Overshadowed' seem to complete this technically polished album and whatever you like about house music, you'll find something here for your taste. An incredible electronic body of work which tells an emotional story, of both Atjazz & Jullian Gomes' lengthy journey through this musical jungle.

Onur Özman returns to Sum Over Histories with Panopticon, a 4-track EP exploring the illusion of freedom in modern life. 

Drawing on the panopticon’s concept of unseen surveillance, the release blends deep, atmospheric sound design with a clear conceptual focus, moving from hidden confinement toward a sense of release. It’s Suol Summer Daze season. That one time of year, where we gather artists from the extended Suol family to put together tracks we believe add an extra kick to the positive vibes coming from sunbeams and summer atmosphere. These are gifted producers from different parts of the world sharing one common denominator - soulful deep house music.

After some years of the compilation being released in the familiar format of an album with a tight tour de force of tracks, we've decided to try with a new form - this issue will be a series of 3 compilation EPs. The intention of it being, to give all these strong and independent tracks a sharpened focus. Each EP will therefore consist of 6 high-quality, exclusive and previously unreleased tracks from both Suol and the extended family.

This EP takes off with Atjazz’ “Programme Sunlight”, which is an electronic, emotional & trippy deep summer groove.

Mark has been part of The Shelter family since 2008, in that time cementing his reputation on the turntables, and also as producer with releases on Basement Boys, Quantize and Rhythm Imprints. Mark flips Tanma into a Saturday night work out, complete with organ stabs and swirling strings.

Twolegs (Torben Hansen) is a producer, remixer and sound designer from Denmark. He started making music at the age of 15 on his Commodore 64 and for many years was part of the underground demo scene on both Commodore 64, Commodore Amiga and the early mid 90's PC tracker-scene. 

Perspectives EP, his first for R2 Records showcases Twolegs distinct fusion of deep house, jazz and funk in three different ways: The title track echoes the deep soulful early house sounds of Chicago almost wistfully longing for those days to return. Worth It takes us into the electronic side of soul, and Love you (Summer Love) is pure flute drenched good vibes.

Karizma adds a firing Kaytronik Worth It Dub to complete the package.
