Abstrakt Dance records gets the next release on the schedule with a much anticipated E.P from a name much touted in many circles as a name to watch in 2023.
Multi skilled producer & DJ Paul Mitchell presents his new forthcoming release on Abstrakt Dance  after having a slew of sort after releases on labels such as Mixcult, Stark Futures, Dred  and also Kingsize records. Paul’s love of electronic synth music started with his love of New Romantic and later B Boy Hip Hop which led to him producing music while still at school. With the advent of the Acid House scene Paul became serious about making music and decided it was something he wanted to pursue seriously and invested in a studio and the rest as they say is history.
The ‘Recharge EP is 3 slabs of authentic heads down deep tech / underground House all with Paul’s trade mark sound of driving basslines, edgy chords and otherworldly sound effects. Being a DJ as well as a producer it’s very evident that he knows what works on a dancefloor.

I love soulful music from Disco to Classical, but I have a soft spot for the darker side of bass heavy electro-funk and techno. Here's 80 minutes of some of my favourite records from my collection. If you like electro and are in the mood for something more fast paced and grimy (no electro cheese) with minimal vocals, you might enjoy.
I'm not a DJ and use a simple rotary that only has EQ out - no individual channel control. I'm not a mixologist - this genre and tempo is bit of a challenge on my setup.
I was in a rare mood to record stuff.

1.	“50 Arc” is an unusual name for a club / label, where does it originate. What is the idea behind It?
Ha ha, yes it is pretty unusual. Its a measurement in astronomy. Cosmic imagery has been used for decades by artists who push boundaries to convey new forms of musical expression, going back to the space jazz of Sun Ra and his Arkestra, to Daphne Orams experimental electronics, to the pioneering electronic artists from Detroit, this link between space, the cosmos and musical expression continues today. So the 50arc name tunes us into a very rich heritage of ideas without constraint or boundaries, and hopefully matches our intent for the night, which is musical open mindedness and a feeling of complete freedom, which we hope everyone experiences when they come....
