Remixer and Houston-based artist Ivan Berkowitz @ivan-berkowitz is a growing name within melodic house and indie dance universes. Marcel Haxs brings in his songs all the experience accumulated in years of involvement, study, work and pursuit for an honest sound with his feelings.
Born in a musical home, Marcel begins his history of involvement with music at the age of 8 studying Guitar. Later in Bass Guitar and Voice he starts working in numerous bands throughout Brazil, ranging from Rock and Metal to MPB ( Popular Brazilian Music ) and Reggae.
There are times with his declared love of Electronic Music, Music Production and with his own studio. He finds the incredible possibility of making a powerful and authentic sound, loaded with his stories and influences.

Ivan Berkowitz's unconventional music production journey began with a Native Instruments iPhone app. What started as just hobby quickly became the driving force of his life. Over a 4 year period, Ivan worked tirelessly to perfect his craft, spending over 6 hours per day writing music and completing over 300 tracks. For Ivan, music creation is his purest form of emotional expression, which extends far beyond what words can capture. His sound is defined by its high energy, dream-like melodic riffs, groovy baselines, ethnic percussion, and punchy drums.
