We’d love for this man to drop gems like these on us every day of the week, because we can’t get enough of his inimitable style. Top notch production as usual, an incredible knack for finetuning and an eagle’s eye for detail. Unmistakably Basstripper! “Back To Normal’ is one of the those tunes that proves you really don’t need anything but a bassline to run things, and once, someday, when we get back to normal, it’ll be great to hear this one out in the dance. “Lightspeed”, then, proves how much this man is a master at creating melodies with random sounds, just piecing bits together till everything falls into place. As one of those producers your favorite dj always keeps an eye out for, Basstripper proves, once again, why he’s ahead of the pack.

Crashing into the new year with a disgusting WALLOP is a name many people are talking about right now – Sota. We’re going to start this year the same way we ended 2023 – with a fresh bassline to ignite the January dance. Our first release of the year comes courtesy of from Phibes – a duo we’ve been closely intertwined with over the years. “Man Come Back” is their new single, and it’s a bit of a whopper. The last time Phibes released on Born On Road was their “Just For Tonight” single back in 2022, so to see the boys back on the label with new music is pretty special. Happy New Year!
