ASTRALNAUT - Astralnaut formed in the later half of 2011, the day after Halloween. Connections were made instantly with the members and to date they have been gigging ferociously up and down the country promoting their first EP ‘Back To The Bog’ and their first single 'Emerald Lord of Pleasure'. With the imminent unearthing of their second E.P and many plans for the future, Astralnaut have no time to slack and don’t plan on it. It‘s exciting times musically in Ireland (and indeed the world) and we are honored to be a part of it…


The Deadly Winters - ever onwards | new collection of songs OUT NOW

Begun in 2019 and plagued by band illness, worldwide panic, studio closures, travel restrictions and the occasional heavy shower, no one would fail to forgive The Deadly Winters for giving up.

Possibly because of the endless trauma throughout the recording, ‘ever onwards’ has emerged triumphant from the ashes.

Songs of beauty, sentiment, the pure joy of nature and the raucous celebration of life itself, ‘ever onwards’ is without question the undeniable front runner of The Deadly Winters catalogue to date.

In May 2023 the band marked their return by releasing a reworking of the traditional folk song “The Cuckoo”, managing to slip it seamlessly and comfortably into their distinctly styled musical canon.

Come July, BBC Radio Scotland’s Travelling Folk show made ‘The Cuckoo’ their BBC Introducing song of the week.

Frontman and songwriter Chris Blair said: “There are many quite beautiful moments in this record, and we're very proud as a band to have created it. The songs have now reached a level of maturity and depth; it almost sounds too good to be us....”

The ‘ever onwards’ release is accompanied by a brand new video for the song ‘Twenty Years’ created by up and coming film and documentary maker Rory Easton.

Scotland’s 9-man ska juggernaut, who have been tearing up stages the length and breadth of the British Isles. Reaching zero to sixty skanking miles an hour in the space of three chords, they are tighter than Fort Knox.  

Live, the band deliver in spades; wave upon wave of ska has fans, skinheads and pork pie hat wearers alike ablaze in dancing rapture.  Their trademark, breakneck ska rhythms and lush, three-part harmonies work together with choppy guitar sounds and an explosive horn section to truly blow the audience away.  .
