Pepper, tomato and spinach prices have gone up by at least 20% after ice frost in the Limpopo region caused damage to these crops. According to Agrimark Trends, the volume of spinach and peppers delivered to fresh produce markets are declining. The icy frost affected spinach crops the worst, forcing consumers to pay 27% more.
