Buttons resident Shingo Suwa is an absolute powerhouse.  He's regularly found closing the techno floor with long, heavy-hitting, rhythmic sets, but don't be surprised to hear him exploring his deeper side on the house floor.  

Shingo is a prolific producer with new releases coming out on his own Merkur Schallplatten  label, as well as Los Angeles' Acid Camp.
 
This set was recorded live on the techno floor of Buttons (May 2017) at About Blank, Berlin.

Kana Mechaniker @user-82019527 developed her sound in the clubs of Tokyo before moving to Berlin in 2009.  The veteran deejay & producer took a hiatus from performing after her arrival in Germany, but we're excited to have her back at Buttons and see the momentum she's gaining;  soon she'll release new material on her own label - Ohrfeigen.

Jacob Meehan - Live @ Buttons - November 2018

Blue pill?  Red pill?  Why not both?  @michel-serafini joined us from Chicago, where he owns & runs the 50 year old record shop Gramaphone - an institution that has a distinct lineage within the city's history of dance music.  The Smart Bar / Queen resident brought a healthy dose of the Chi-Town house sound to Berlin for the closing set of our first party in 2019.

Coming from the jazz scene (and being a classically
trained musician) Ana Kublashvili chose the artist name
Newa when she progressed into the electronic music
field. Newa started out as a DJ in 2012 in her hometown
of Tbilisi, Georgia, quickly making a name for herself
around in the city’s famous nightlife spots. She is a
regular at the world-renowned Bassiani venue, a space
that has given her a foundation to establish her skills on
an international scale. Newa is also a recurring favourite
at Ben Klock’s touring event-series Photon.
