Starting life in Israel – Omer found his way to the electronic music capital, better known as Berlin, a decade ago, where his work has become very comfortable within its surroundings. In those ten years, he has been regularly playing at Cocktail d’Amour, Buttons, Renate and SchwuZ – becoming a fixed member of the city’s exuberant nightlife. This summer, he shared his second EP via Paramida’s Love On The Rocks imprint - a beautifully arranged 3-tracker. Snapping percussions, fierce basslines, swirling layers of melody and synths that resonate with warmth and emotion, we absolutely love it.

We heard about Robert Yang when he was, just like us, part of this huge communauty of geeks, record diggers, music connoisseurs and gear freaks producers on The Cybernetic Broadcasting System forum (the webradio of I-F) where he was going by the name of Robot Hustle. He is one of the original members of Honey Soundsystem and has released various records on Josh Cheon's "Dark Entries"""  and Honey Soundsystem's flagship label as well as some oothers on "Public Release" or Fort Romeau's "Cin Cin". Over the course of the last few years he has been perfecting a live music performance of the better taste. A multi-instrumentalist, Robert was trained in saxophone starting at age 10, before moving onto a Fender Telecaster after high school. After being exposed to Southern California rave culture in the late 90s, he moved onto DJing and collecting records. By the time he planted his roots in San Francisco in 2005, Robert had built an impressive analog synth-based studio, which also serves as the creative hub for his riveting live performances.

When she's not working behind the counter at Phonica, Lucie divides her time between producing, DJing and performing as Avsluta, free improvisation and creating conceptual sound work. She runs Introspective Electronics, which is a monthly show on Netil Radio and a series of podcasts and chill-out gatherings at The Lion & Lamb in East London. 

Lucie’s second half of 2020 is packed with some exciting releases. First up, she has an electro-acoustic mini-album coming out with David Toop on Cafe OTO’s digital label Takuroku, followed by a collaborative experimental double LP with Christian Duka as Vãdin on Utter, and lastly, a tripped-out, progressive and trancey 12” shared with Miro SundayMusiq for E2-E8 Records.
