Hosted by JoEllen Watson. In this inaugural episode, Dr. Watson is interviewed by Radio Boise Program Director Wayne Birt. You'll learn about the show, a little bit about Dr. Watson, and how you can call in get involved.

Elementary Dr. Watson is a live call-in show dedicated to helping people live their best lives. Done in a coaching format, action-oriented style, listeners can call in using an anonymous name if preferred, identify a desired life change, and then collaboratively agree on a series of small, specific actions to help achieve their desired goal. The focus is personal change, not an attempt to change anyone else. No diagnosing, no advice giving, no judgment. The listener is encouraged to call, text, or chat back to report to the listening audience how things are going and then identify the next steps toward goal achievement. The show will be quick-moving, fun, and supportive to the caller. Once a month, Dr. Watson will interview the director of a local social service organization to describe available services and the best way to access help.

Hosted by Dr. Jo-Ellen Watson. In this episode Dr. Watson talks with a caller who wanted to get back to creating and find her passions again and go over action steps to accomplish that. Our second caller was dealing with issues of balance in her life between work, life and family.

Hosted by Dr. Jo-Ellen Watson. In this episode, Dr. Watson talks with licensed clinical social worker, the Director of mental health services at the Hive, and my good friend Anne Padilla with us to discuss all things mental health at the Boise Hive. 

The Boise Hive provides a safe, all-ages, sober space for fostering a supportive, creative musician’s community in Idaho. The Hive empowers musicians and other artists through access to mental health services, business tools, support in creating music, and other resources to thrive.

At the core of the non-profit mission is to reduce suicide in the music community. For the last four years, Boise Hive Mental Health Director Anne Padilla has paired musicians needing counseling with volunteer licensed mental health counselors.
