Boogie Check - is the phrase my dad always used when doing a sound test on a microphone. 
Similarly, this mini-episode is the “sound check” for this show. 
It’s our initial, mini episode to introduce the themes, tone & core of the story.

RADIO CULLOM is an examination of my relationship with my father and my sister - as she & I  work through trying to piece together an understanding of who our dad was, apart from us, since he passed away before we had the chance to get to know him as full-fledged adults.

This episode provides a glimpse into the inspiration for the show with an introduction to myself (the host), the subject of my Dad - (his death & his career), and my sister, Jenn.

This is a podcast that explores memory, relationships and what, if anything, we might learn about someone we have lost 
- from the artifacts they left behind.
Every human experiences grief at some point. We all have stories of loss that will inevitably shape who we are. This is just one such story.

The show is made using found recordings of old radio broadcasts, archival cassette tapes, audio from family videos, personal narrative storytelling and conversations.
