"El Fadaa" is the fourth release from Romanian outfit Khidja this year, after EPs released on Love On The Rocks, [Emotional] Especial and Bahnsteig 23. This time it's through the young label Malka Tuti from Tel Aviv, from which we already featured a premiere a few weeks ago, the Willie Burns remix of "Botanical Garden" by Yovav. A2 "Drums Of Taksim" is a psychedelic downtempo trip with a huge build up featuring a spoken poem by Alan Berliner, live instruments mixed with electronics and some arabic singing, clocking in at 12 minutes. Remix courtesy of Baris K and Mehmet Aslan appears on the flip side too. Strong release, not to be missed! One of our highlights of last year was Nebraska's 'Soften the wireless' EP, with disco stomper Khan's Bargain, and an amazing Tom Noble remix. Since then, we've seen him take on quite a few live shows again, playing at Claire during ADE, and Concrete for our label showcases. He's also managed to find a bit of time to focus on his fresh (new and cool) edit label 'Friends and Relations'. Luckily, since we've been nagging him to do a new EP for Heist just enough for him to still like us, and more than enough for him to want to get it over with, we've gotten our hands on another set of amazing tunes. Hello girls & boys,

here's our new baby : "bedtime stories - sounds for a sweaty summer"... the idea behind this mix was to share some of the best tracks we've discovered in the past few months. as you can imagine, we weren't able to limit ourselves to new discoveries and ended up putting some old favorites into the stew.    
summer is always a very special moment for us as our music seems to be the product of warmth and sunshine. for those of you fortunate enough to head to the beach, we hope this will provide the perfect soundtrack for your barbecues, volley-ball games and poolside parties. for those of you who won't have the opportunity to take a vacation, let's hope this gives you a little bit of digital sunshine and puts a smile on your faces.
