My favourite era of music is the 1980s. So for this mix I have put together a selection of records that remind me of the musical colours from my upbringing, ranging from pachanga, Latin new wave, Afro synth pop & other warm rhythms, including some taken from my parent’s own collection :)

When selecting tracks for this mix I wanted to spotlight sounds from the 90s and some of the producers that have influenced the music I play out today - some of which includes Kerri Chandler, Masters at Work and Grant Nelson. I also picked a vocal track by the legendary singer Barbara Tucker whose voice was so influential during that period and still is today. Focusing on Vocal and Garage House with some Gospel influences, from ’89 til today, theses records come from across the Atlantic, from different states in America and a few more close to home. I felt inspired to play records that I have found while digging over this summer, and ones that resonate with the sounds that I am currently listening to.

In summer of 2024, I was invited to record a mix at "My Analog Journal’s" studio in London, a channel I’ve followed and admired for years. I’m very honored to contribute with a selection of african-boogie, funk, disco, and jazz. Records that have deeply influenced me along the way. I hope you enjoy!
