• 📖 -> Nick De Voost alias Subground 3000 is from Tourcoing in northern France, located between Lille and the Belgian border. In 1988 at the age of 15 he discovers radio SIS Mouscron (Belgium), the sound of Chicago and Detroit techno, which had submerged the whole of England and which will sweep over Belgium .

Already heavily influenced by Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Electronica and Cold Wave push him over the years to become as record spinner in various parties, clubs, bars in France, Belgium and Germany and through several radio programmes to share his passion for the electronic music and connect with like minded people, he continues to explore the deeper side of electronic music, playing Detroit influenced techno through to deep house.

His trip as DJ has widened up his horizon to the production, he worked in many projects and remixes.

Passionate about electronic music since 1992, Claude started playing in small public parties between 1994 and 1998. He started to host a radio show on the local radio in my city between 1995 and 2010 in which he mixed live and he rebroadcast the evenings he had spent the day before. He played for 20 years as a regional DJ all over Belgium. In 2018 and 2019, he opened the Bonzai Stage in Marche-en-Famenne (Bonzai Ardennes). In 2021, he opened the Bonzai stage at the Legacy Festival (Mol- Zilvermeer). Nowdays he play every Saturday on Galaxie Radio Belgium. His favorite music style is Retro House, Trance & Techno.

Beginning to learn the art of DJ-ing at 16 and till now for more than 2 decades, in his DJ sets one will find a nice blend of different genres ranging from House, Techno, Minimal, Acid, Electro, Progressive, Rave, Trance, Balearic, Soul, Indie Dance, Disco and more. Having a lifelong love for a wide spectrum of music, Jeremy delivers a rocking DJ set every time with his impressive knowledge of tunes of all sorts. Jeremy surely knows a lot about the styles of music, the labels, the re-mixers and the producers who creates these tunes. Going beyond the music he plays, Jeremy strives to surpass the art of mixing. Reviews from the clubbing scenes often mention his tight solid mixing, awesome selection and sequencing of his tunes. For those who have gone to see Jeremy’s spin before, they know that he is a DJ who knows the stuff well beyond many counterparts for a long long time!

He plays regularly for top Underground clubs in Hong Kong which includes Oma, Mihn and Social Room. Besides Hong Kong, he had also performed in many other top clubs and venues around the world. The list includes La Station (Paris), Golden Gate (Berlin), Klub Famu (Prague), Faust (Seoul), .TAG (Chengdu), Savage (Hanoi) and more. He also had performed at music festivals such as Clockenflap, Sónar Hong Kong, Airhouse (South Korea), Intro Festival (Mongolia) and more.

A regular face on Hong Kong’s club circuit, Byrne has thrown parties and held residencies at venues such as Oma, Social Room, Midnight & Co. And Drop over the last decade while also making appearances at festivals the likes of Clockenflap, Sónar, Omni and Quest. 

Byrne currently holds a residency at FM Belowground, with a monthly radio show, Disco for the Damned. The show explores the darker realms of electronic dance music by showcasing guests from around the world playing EBM, Industrial and adjacent musical styles. 

Scheduled to launch in December 2023, Disco for the Damned will release its first album, a compilation, with tracks from established and upcoming producers, most of whom have contributed guest mixes on Disco for the Damned’s monthly radio show.
