- The World's Challenge Challenge hosted by Western University saw Otago University come out with the gold medal for their innovation in electric car charging

- Three of four London ridings are now NDP-lead, as Jeff Yurek is the lone PC MPP.

- The Factory in London is having its opening weekend as it is home to arcades, VR, and escape rooms. Fun for all ages!

- The Fringe Festival saw a more interactive one-man show called Red Bastard, created and performed by Eric Davis. Another show will happen this Saturday

- The London Majors are gunning for their seventh straight win tonight as they welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to Labatt Park

- Both FC London teams will in action this weekend as the men's team plays at 4PM, while the women follow at 7PM. Both games are at German Canadian Field. 

- Hot weather as a high of 26 is expected with a mix of sun and cloud. 25 degrees expected Saturday with a chance of showers, and a sunny Sunday with a high of 23.
