Fresh from trawling through his endless crates of CDs and vinyl and riding high on the recent Glastonbury Chill-out Set for Mixmaster Morris, this is a unique collection of 'off the wall' goodies that will take you on a journey to places you have never been...and be lost in time... Forever.

Merv had always a passion for edgy downtempo stuff so this is a man in his element. This isn't just music purchased for DJ purposes, it is the stuff he listens to at home in the very rare moments that Eat Static are not busy. The stuff he would play while you were sharing a good English cup of tea!
But that's not all! For this podcast Merv has also armed himself with his trademark analogue synthesizers and sampler and some twisted effects to add even more color to the mix and also the feeling of a live performance. A form of remixing, on the fly.

From world music to other wordly delights: Merv Pepler's exclusive radiOzora chillout show is on air again this week with a new installment for another three hours enjoyment. Tune in!
"Lost in Time" continues with the second three hours show on the Chill channel Wednesday evening 8pm CET. A special downtempo podcast with unreleased goodies and rarities, recorded with CDs, vinyls, synths and additional FXs to spice all up, this is "Lost in Time" by Merv Pepler aka Eat Static. Merv had always a passion for edgy downtempo stuff so this is a man in his element. This isn't just music purchased for DJ purposes, it is the stuff he listens to at home in the very rare moments that Eat Static are not busy. The stuff he would play while you were sharing a good English cup of tea!
The second installment took a little longer after a very busy summer season for Eat Static constantly travelling around the world with his live performance but it is finally ready and was definitely well worth the wait. Going through his vast music collection of about 40,000 albums, Merv carefully selected another bunch of gems and special rarities in this three hours long journey for the radiOzora listeners, don't miss it! The first airing time is 9th October, Wednesday evening 8pm CET and the re-runs are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Another one not to be missed: meanwhile Merv and Chris Rich have come together for a music session and came up with a brand new crazy versus track called "Voodoo Doll" - to be released at Halloween on Eat Static's own label Mesmobeat Records...

About this mix, HARMONIUSZ says: "In this set, I combined Traktor with Ableton. For Traktor, I played using four channels with stems, while in Ableton, I used a drum machine and primarily drum samples from the other eight channels. This DJ mix was recorded in my home studio." Harmoniusz is a DJ and bass guitarist who has recently joined the Krakow collective Egodrop. Privately known as Mariusz Gil, he began his musical journey playing bass guitar before developing a passion for DJing.  Since 2011, Harmoniusz has been performing on stage and collaborating with DJs. His meticulous approach to music is evident in his attention to detail and his commitment to crafting intricate nuances. He is known for his precise, mathematical soundscapes, which create a specific and cohesive musical journey.  Primarily focused on chillout music in its lighter variations, Harmoniusz is deeply dedicated to the sound of his mixes. Keeping pace with technological advancements, he incorporates various tools into his sets, including drum machines, keyboards, and sequencers. His mixes often feature jazzy samples and echoes of genres such as trip-hop and downtempo, resulting in a distinctive sound that fosters a relaxing and sometimes profoundly reflective atmosphere.

"I wanted to keep this mix in a purely cosmic mood, evoking the feeling that arises when contemplating the night sky and pondering the infinity (or perhaps finiteness?) of space, the vast distances and scales beyond our comprehension, and our future in the cosmos. I decided to enlist the support of my label mates, whose tracks, in my opinion, perfectly fit this vibe. The mix is not just made up of my own tracks, and I believe it turned out just as I hoped — truly cosmic. It’s all on the same wavelength: peace, love, unity, and cosmic prosperity for everyone. PLUR!"  Invisible Inks is the project of Veniamin Vigovsky, who began his musical journey as a drummer in various rock bands during his school years. In Focus this time is the MOAI SYSTEM duo. On the information superhighway, individuals around the world become connected in ways they never dreamed of before. Like minds meet and exchange ideas at the speed of thought, millions of times every day. The home PC patched into the world wide web becomes like a neuron in a vast global brain. Cultures collide, mingle, scatter to the four winds, collect in fertile areas across the planet. Geographic boundaries disappear. Revolution is at hand. In 1999, a chance online meeting of two cultural castaways became a mutual obsession. Once the initial setup of software was in place, the music started to flow. DnB collided with techno, jazz, funk, and classical as files were transferred back and forth from California to France. The end result was greater than the sum of its parts. Dreamshader and Daytuner are now living together, creating music from the comfort of their home studio. They’re still castaways, but at least they’re on the same island together. This exclusive mix contains MOAI SYSTEM's best old tracks and new ones from their new album "Kaleidoscope" which should be released soon on Nutek Chill.
