Mystical Forest Set - 8th May 2022

The mind behind the Mokṣa project, is Marco, born in Cantù, Northern Italy, in 1992. His journey into psychedelic music began in 2009, when he started attending local psytrance parties. Soon after, he began DJing at small events in his area, driven by a growing passion for the music and its culture.

In 2013, deeply inspired by the Greek darkpsy scene, Marco launched Mokṣa—despite having no formal musical training at the time. Through years of self-teaching and experimentation, he developed a signature sound: darkpsy music filled with deep atmospheres, unusual textures, and heavy percussive energy, designed to take listeners on immersive, psychedelic journeys.

In 2017, he released his first solo EP on Fraktal Kaos Records, and has since continued to release music through respected labels such as Orphic Resonance, Free Earth Records, and Sonic Loom.
Always pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic landscapes, Marco also collaborates with fellow artist Nibiru under the project name Mokiru. Together, they recently released an EP on Free Earth Records, showcasing their shared vision of psychedelic sound.

Lukas H. was born 1985 in Buenos Aires. He made a lot of experiences with music in his young days.
When he was 13 years old he started playing Percussion (Tambourine, Drums)
In the year 2000, He had his first contact with electronic Music. He started mixing DnB & Psytrance.
In 2002, He started his education for "Audio Engineer" at the SAE School in Zürich.
In the year 2006, he released his first Debut Album with a friend in coorperation with the Music & Fashion Label "Shaman Electro Records" from Bali/Indonesia. It was called: "Vibracoustic-Dark Skies"
In 2008, Lukas arranged his solo Project "Yaminahua". High Quality is an important point for Lukas` Music. This is why his music is very elaborated, multifaceted and directly. It`s a journey througt the body and soul.

It’s time for sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. Visionary Shamanics is proud to present a new compilation of jungly forest and dark grooves and featuring a selection of tracks in the hi forest style. 
Wacah Chan is a Mayan word for the world tree which in their view represents the milky way galaxy. In Mayan mythos the world tree or Wacah Chan was the first creation in the universe and everything emanated from it and continues to do so. A ceiba tree is often depicted as the representative form of this concept, sometimes with a caiman as it's trunk mimicking the scaled spikes of the tree. The world tree connects the three universes of the heavens, earth and underworld. The vision serpent sits atop the world tree which created the center axis which communicates between the earthly and spirit realms. This axis mundi represented by a sacred ceiba tree was a way for the dead and the gods to travel between the worlds. The world tree is including in the creation story of many early civilizations across the world completely independent of each other.
