Following on from “Stolen”, Raelle introduces her next single “Pressure”. 

Following the trend, “Pressure” is an international collaboration, written and recorded between London Berlin and France by Raelle, with Gabriel Gifford producing and writing the piece alongside her. 

“Pressure”tells the story of losing yourself within narcissistic abuse, and being able to come to terms with and being able to understand how someone who is meant to love you be the same person to cause you the most harm- yet still you can’t let go of them. “Still I question why, why you always seek for my demise” 

The production of this piece includes live drums from Emanuel J Burton
(Little Simz, FKJ, Sault, Yazmin Lacey), live horns, bass and guitar section, with elements of dub and reggae intertwined.

When speaking on Pressure Raelle states, “It is a song that represents the closure of a chapter both musically and in my personal life, of holding space for people who take my kindness for weakness, it is the mourning of both myself for the person who was hurt, and to a relationship that truly never was, it is a song about taking back your power and the unsteady in-between journey that it may be”

Although still a newcomer, she has already garnered the support from BBC 1xtra DJs such as Jamz Supernova, and DJ Target as well as BBC introducing. She has performed at notable venues such as The Jazz Café London, opening for The Real Thing, and festivals across the country. She was tipped for being on CLASHs next wave of artists as well as being supported by other notable outlets such as DUMMY Mag, and LinkUpTV. Her EP Wake up Sunshine, which was released independently, premiered on WORDPLAY mag, and garnered support from BBC radio 1xtra DJ Jamz Supernova."
