Después de una travesía sónica entre el Estado de México, Texas y Los Angeles, es momento de situarnos en Celaya Guanajuato, ciudad en la cual radica Omar Tirado alias @el_chico_callado , productor activo que ha ido puliendo su sonido y ha mostrado su evolución en la construcción de sus piezas, sus primeros tracks nos revelan los generos que más han provocado al productor, como lo es el techno, el dubstep y el low-fi solo por mencionar algunos; con un fuerte toque nostálgico, melancólico y cada vez más sólido su sonido sigue en constante progreso, tirando guiños a generos como reggaetón, juke y tribal logrando publicar un par de EPs bajo el sello @OfensaLabel del cual es cofundador y junto a su equipo han desarrollado un nicho en su ciudad natal inculcando el sonido latino y experimental en sus diferentes vertientes. ‘Ni de aquí, Ni de Allá’ su actual EP editado por @cvjvnegrvrecords label liderado por El Irreal Veintiuno y Radeco Domar, en donde a lo largo de cuatro tracks nos sumerge al mundo idóneo de El Chico Callado, nutrido con timbales, congas, shakers, inquietantes melodías, samples en relación al confinamiento y el folclor mexicano, todo enfundado en una siniestra atmosfera originando consistentes pistas de cumbia y tribal grávidas de esperanza y ventura.

Su archivo para Trasnoche es un estimulante dj set que explora el sonido percusivo del país y el globo. Con congruencia, El Chico Callado entrelaza el tribal con el dembow e ingeniosos bootlegs y mashups arribando a frenética cumbia.

*2 GOLEM：A golem is mythical humanlike figure made from clay and magically able to move on its own. In the Bible, Golem is an unfinished human being, without a soul. Through the process of its own evolution and its makers' experiments, a Golem can contain or generate its own soul. It can appear in different interconnected forms and reproduce itself at will. A golem with a soul, in order to speed up its own evolution, will sometimes supersede or devour the original form of life. The album Golem is inspired from this source.

Producer and Dj since 2001, Lao is a member of https://soundcloud.com/naafi and head of his own label https://soundcloud.com/extasisrecords . He has produced for the likes of Gaika , MC Bin Laden , Tomasa Del Real , Linn Da Quebrada, Nick Hook and many others. In 2018 he did remixes for Fever Ray and Interpol, he also won the NTS radio x Sonos International Knockout Cup and presented a hybrid live show at MUTEK.MX . In 2019 he's working as producer for urban music duo ForyFive from Mexico City and Avant-garde Latin pop group Defensa based in Argentina. Lao has performed in some of the best clubs in the world like Berghain (Saule and Panorama) Razzmatazz, Oil club and Circus Tokyo.
