Through shadowed halls of thought I roam,
A stream of cursed dreams I find.
The river of time rushed far from home,
And raging storms possessed my mind.

My visions turned to chaos wild,
As fears devoured the trembling heart.
The roots of evil, dark, defiled,
Tore every fragile veil apart.

The masks of kindness torn away,
Their gentle grace a poisoned snare.
Through shards of mirrors cracked and grey,
A city of blackened souls lay bare.

The throne was torn by greedy hands,
Enslaving hearts in broken lands.
While jackals licked a conscience slain,
They sold off freedom, bound in chains.

In temples bright they took their seat,
Their hollow chants to skies repeat.
They cast dead faith as lifeless flame,
Dark souls in holy robes of shame.

They clawed the earth with savage cries,
And tore the heavens, rent the air.
War-beasts played games where glory dies,
And bathed the world in crimson glare.

The laws were set, a hunter’s snare,
The hangman’s scourge prepared to fall.
Blind justice hid her ruthless stare,
And cast the sentence cold to all.

The storm is rising, no escape,
The iron gates of fate are near.
The world consumed in fire’s shape,
Yet still I choose defiance here!

So do not linger, run, take flight!
Unfold your world to a different side.
Blind your eyes with illusions bright,
Or fall to darkness, if you cannot hide.
