TRC2 drops his first full EP on Codename: RCRDS with a stunning selection of deep rollers perfectly showcasing this rising talent with a defiantly unique sound pitching towards darker edges.

The EP opens with 'Basement', where crisp breaks and gully baselines combine with ominous atmospheres and synth riffs for a dark introspective roller. Things continue with the haunting techy dreamstate of 'Marvel At What Could Have Been', full of stabbing synths and rumbling basslines, before title track 'Assembly Code' moves towards more rolling drumfunk stylings. The EP closes with techstep 'Rapid Adaptation', where initially darker elements give way to lush pianos and driving synths.

"No Roller" flexes a big string sample that's reminiscent of High Society era High Contrast and really opens out to its soul source on the breakdown. Total feel good vibes. "How We Chill" has a more mischievous take on soul as it works a chill bar from 93 over a sprightly neon synth funk groove and occasional amen splashes. To infinity and beyond.

Festival hero Captain Flatcap presents his debut Swing & Bass EP 'Fowl Play'. Expect an eargasm of some of his squelchiest and wobbliest bangers to date! They will make you go quackers!

'Fowl Play' kicks off the EP with 140BPM wobbler which takes Bassline House style synths and applies them to a Dubstep rhythm along with Flatcap's trademark folky instrumental samples to boot!

'Bang Bang Boogie' brings up the tempo with a feel good hip shaker that would be any Rappers Delight!

'Quacky Baccy' is a horn laced Glitch Hop growler that will melt your face off and leave you smiling about it at the same time.

The final track of the release 'I Spy' is a mid-tempo banger with flamenco style guitar throughout and glitchy bass synths, with a smooth guest vocal from Kurnel MC. The EP also contains an instrumental version that bangs just as hard as the vocal version!

"Duke Skellington" is an artist at the forefront of the global "Future Swing" music movement. The result is a unique experience of music that unites the past and future. Duke Skellington is the music producer behind the Vaude Villainz project, who reached #2 on the Beatport Glitch Hop chart in 2017 with their EP 'Voodoo Swing'.  Now the Duke is back, ready to lead the future swing movement, with his debut solo EP 'Devils, Dames & Debauchery' dropping on Ragtime Records.  The release expands on his signature vibe, fusing the classic sounds of yesteryear with no nonsense Bassline House and straight up funky Glitch Hop.

The opening track on the EP 'Name in Lights' sees the Duke reimagine the sounds of yesteryear with funky with psychedelic bass and robotic glitch beats all brought together with the sultry and haunting vocals of Kumiho. 'Hot Jazz' takes the listener down memory lane, with jazzy vintage textures and  moody basslines over a funky yet driving 4x4 beat.  'My Mind', another Glitch Hop banger, features the vocal talents of Alanna Lyes over some seriously bouncy bass and punchy drums.
