Myself and Total Science go back a long way because we have an old  mutual friend called Brillo aka Timeless Recordings so I'm really pleased to have them on the album. I thought 'Catch' would be a great fit for Total Science because they're very particular with their production and Mr scaredy cat Digital has hardly done any vocal tracks, so I didn't want to be responsible for ruining Sofi Mari's gorgeous voice lol The other reason I asked them to be on the album is because they're one of my favourite artists in the dnb scene;-)

"Life Goes to a Party" originally written by Benny Goodman and Harry James in the late 1930s was a dance floor favorite across the emerging U.S. swing scene. Hot Jazz inspired swing music was a raging cult, and with Goodman being the high priest.

Fast Forward 90 years later to find another dance music cult.  House music and more specifically Bass House has emerged blending contemporary styles of grimey bass electronic music and hard house rhythms. As a portal between time was opened styles blend through Duke Skellington's bass house remix of the classic.  "Life Goes to a Party" has found it's feet in both worlds. Taking a little from the past, present and future "Life Goes to a Party" is here for the speakeasy rave kids, the steam punk time travelers, the house music hepcats, and everyone in between to provide a soundtrack to the prohibition rebellion, bootleg sound system emerging across the world. As they move, you feel the cool autumn breeze, smell the smoke from a fireplace afar, and realize this is an omen of the season.  A sign of something bigger than the usual tame jack o'lanterns and small children trick or treating.  From the darkness, covered head to toe in a gray burlap sack,  emerges The Oogie Boogie man.

The follow up to the remix pack of ''Prophets Of The Doom'' that was initially release in fourth quarter of 2017, contains seven energetic remix cuts by some of FS' closest allies, most valued artists and scene favorites. Rotterdam based ''ABIS'' turns 3RDKND's ''Fire & Blood'' inside out with some lethal production skills.''Agressor Bunx'' gives Demon Shogun a splendid treatment whilst respecting the attitude of the original cut. ''Inward, Hanzo and Randie'' team up for a the rework of ''Sellout''. Whilst remaining the ambiance of the original, a layer of sturdy sounds are added. ''Maztek'' uses his years of remix experience to create the tough sounding refix of ''Benga''.
Additional remixes come from Czech Republic based  Holotrope, Fragz from Portugal and Deathmachine from United Kingdom.

Viper have always been known as a label that has actively sought out new talent to bring to the spotlight; their strength comes from both a diverse roster, a constant stream of fresh talent, and some of the scene’s most respected veterans, all in one place. With names like Metrik, Fred V & Grafix, ShockOne, Delta Heavy, Sigma, Nero, DC Breaks, and more all starting their career on the prolific label, there’s no question label-boss Futurebound has a knack for discovering diamonds in the rough. Following Viper’s newest mystery signee Giganti, Futurebound has just signed another talented newcomer to the label, this time going by the name of Millbrook. 
Millbrook is no stranger to releasing killer music; a look into his past will provide insight how he cut his teeth writing and releasing drum and bass under previous alias Vacuum. With an impressive amount of support and airtime from the likes of Bassnecter, Noisa, DJ Hype, Camo & Krooked and Glitch Mob already under his belt, Michel Losch, aka Millbrook, is now ready to elevate his sound to the next level in a new partnership with Viper.
Making a remarkable introduction for himself, ‘The Rise’ is the first taste of the Luxembourg based producer’s rebrand. Written with the talented Vorso and featuring industry favourite Mad Hed City on vocals, ‘The Rise’ is a raw, gritty, pounding masterpiece with a drop that is guaranteed to leave jaws on the floor. A charming intro melody quickly evolves into something much more sinister, emotion, followed by pure adrenaline, pumping from Mad Hed City’s iconic voice before breaking down into something minimal, funky, and all around technically brilliant. 
The flip side of the single gives us a glimpse at Millbrook’s much more elegant side – a cinematic opening teases at his sound design ability while introducing a variety of power-packed chords for an instantly memorable tune. Delivering a different kind of funk with the drop, Millbrook has certainly proven he is a force to be reckoned with with this release. 
A celebration of the label’s diversity, Millbrook’s introductory release promises a lot more to look forward to. Keep your eyes peeled for more from Millbrook this year, alongside Viper’s growing roster of new and formidable talent.
