Chantilly "Cleva Thoughts" Kornegay is a professional songwriter and Hip Hop Vocalist from the DMV. She has spent most of her life perfecting the craft of music and assisting in the development of creating songs. As a global vocalist with hundreds of rap features she has made an impact that separates her unique style as one to be remembered in the music industry. Working with Grammy winning filmmakers, established producers, sync licensing experts, and many emerging artists is proving that Cleva Thoughts is building relationships within the music business that will last. Chantilly is known for her talents in the field of Hip Hop, Trap, EDM, Techno, Bass and Drums, and more. Ragtime Records was born in 2012 for a platform for a fusion of all types of swing music with an electronic twist.  Run by Rich (aka C@ In The H@), Tom (Electric Swing Circus), & Chad (Duke Skellington), we focus on bringing you quality vintage & swing music re-mixed and re-imagined for the modern day listener.

We love to showcase all types of genres which incorporate that swing sound;  expect to hear everything from House to DnB, Dubstep to Breaks, Glitch Hop to Garage, Downtempo to Acoustic....

Swingamajig is the UK’s first one day urban festival dedicated to Electro Swing, Gypsy Folk and vintage mayhem! Swingamajig takes the sounds and styles from the 1920′s and brings them up to date with a modern twist bringing together several thousand of the best dressed ladies and gents to party like it is 1929

Swingamajig has grown out of the success of Hot Club de Swing, a Birmingham club night that is all about swing with a big bass sound, and is curated by the Electric Swing Circus – The UKs Hottest Electro Swing band. Four diverse stages showcasing some of the most inventive and entertaining acts on the scene Live bands, DJs, swing dancers, vintage cinema, acrobats, artists and more. A full day and night of wild of vintage debauchery that will be the talk of the town for months to come!

C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.
