CommonSense Records is a Techno label founded in 2017 by Alejandro Franco; DJ, Producer, journalist and radio host. Based in México City.

CSR is a cultural platform: a record label, events and experiences around Techno music.

We are proud to be a bridge that connects distant and different societies through the same language and art, having important Techno exhibitors around the world in our residencies, gigs and published music.

Our releases feature the best of the national and international scene, offering a first-rate exhibition of Techno culture.

Microesfera is one of the southern cone most visible and forward thinking electronica dance acts. Alejandro Amo and Ramiro Larrain are Microesfera, part of Buenos Aires’ techno scene since 1997. 

Always on the edge of music production, Alejandro and Ramiro have also produced more experimental fare as Vlisa (their beat less alter ego), becoming in the process a top electronic music production team in Argentina. 

Taking the techno vein and slashing it with house and micro sounds, Microesfera started releasing EP’s on independent labels in their country in the late 90’s. After that they self released the “Illusion” album on their label Droop Discos in 2002 a year after their “Reconstrucción” album for their Vlisa project. 

In 2005 Microesfera released two EP’s on Japan’s Mule Electronic label (with by Mike Shannon and Gustavo Lamas) which are distributed worldwide by Kompakt. As restless thinkers that Alejandro and Ramiro are, Microesfera projects always have some type romantic concept behind the music, lacing their releases with an almost innocent sense of criticism and humor.

At 2006 Microesfera debuts on Static Discos, with his second album “Negative”, is a collection of tracks which are transmuted into micro techno sounds that create a reverse mesh of avant dance aesthetics. The album completes itself with 3 remixes from up and coming Latin American producers, Receptor (Chile), Fax and Latinsizer (both from Mexico).  

After 2011 The Argentinean duo before resizing to a one man project with Ramirro Larraín. The duo parted amicably with Alejandro Amo focusing now on his career as a graphic designer and personal business.  This fact marks a new era for Microesfera, where all the principles of his detailed sound design come into full circle and impact with a more subdued and pop sound and feel.

Either in the middle of the day or in the middle of the night, Valesuchi distinctly translates the vast mixture of her timeless and fertile sonic research, embodied as a big list of questions that has grown at an unpredictable pace through her music production and DJ craft, since she was 15 years old.
With precision and purpose she stitches and improvises a message, looking to blend each crowd’s shadow, expansive aliveness and sometimes hidden sense of humour. By choosing people’s bodies as a limitless answer, Valesuchi rides the rhythm until there’s not much ice left to melt.
Never a lazy digger, the tools she has come from her background in Santiago’s risky
gatherings and from the lessons learnt at the uncomparable raves she’s played all over Brazil. She chose Rio de Janeiro as her homebase in 2017, a place where techno, groove, funk, desire and danger coexist.

Has been a prolific electronic musician for more than 20 years. From minimal techno to contemplative landscapes, the work of FAX is distinguished by its rich sound design and detailed musicianship. His music has been released all around the globe on labels such as Traum, Level (DE), SEM (FR), Static Discos (MX) among many others. As an art director has designed music sleeves for The Leaf Label (UK) and Khoi Khoi (FR).
