groovy hops

This is original music for music's sake, created from the 2a03 soundchip of the Nintendo Entertainment System, with the VRC6 expansion audio chip. It was made with a program called 0CC-Famitracker.

The NES has only 5 monophonic audio channels ("tracks" or "voices"), but the VRC6 (used in only a small handful of Japanese Famicom games) adds 3 additional voices for more pristine polyphonic possibilities. 

.nsf files are included in the Bandcamp download, for playback and looping on NES hardware, in a Nintendo emulator, or Winamp with an NSF plugin.

A little remix of one of the tunes from Rain World. I was digging around in the files for the game and i found the audio tracks used in the game's procedural music, so i imported them into ableton and had a little fun. Its a pretty neat game yall should check it out.
