One day on vacation I watched documentary about K2 climbers, Karakoram 8,611 meters. Rough, cold, thin air. Indeed, 1 out 4 mountaineers lose their lives to the deadliest mountain of all. Stunningly most of them _after_ reaching the summit of their dreams....

Fully made on Roland VerseLab MV-1 (sold it by now to fund analogue gear). Though kept few tracks which this handy standalone helped to capture emotion on a spot. Mastered with UAD Oxide Tape, IK One, and FabFilters. As always the new and a dozen other tracks are downloadable on my accounts, thanks!

Mongolia is a landlocked country in East Asia, between Russia and China. Territorially over four times the size of Germany, the country is the least populated country in the world with around three million inhabitants. More than 40 percent of the country's population lives in the capital Ulaanbaatar. The majority of the population are Mongolians, the slight majority of whom follow Mongolian Buddhism.

The national territory covers most of the Mongolian Plateau. Due to the nature of the soil and the climate, agriculture can hardly be practiced in Mongolia. The landscape is dominated by grassy steppes, with mountains to the north and west, and the Gobi Desert to the south. The most important economic sectors are nomadic livestock farming and mining. The country is one of the ten countries richest in raw materials in the world.

Excavations in the Gobi show that Homo erectus lived in what is now Mongolia 500,000 years ago. Even before the beginning of the Christian era, equestrian nomads such as the Xiongnu or Xianbei united to form large tribes. In 1206, Genghis Khan founded the Mongol Empire, which stretched across Asia and into Europe and was the largest territorially contiguous empire in human history. On February 12, 1992, parliament sealed the end of the communist system by adopting a new constitution. Since then, Mongolia has been a stable democracy. According to the 2022 Democracy Index, Mongolia is the only democracy in the world completely surrounded by clear dictatorships. The Mongolian population is particularly concerned about the relationship with China, as they are aware of the lack of chances in a possible military conflict and are increasingly becoming dependent on this threatening backdrop.

Drone (Moog Mode)

One of my first track played with Korg Gadget app, which became daily prayer. Literally daily. Bast waste of $38 for any music soft, that turned iPhone and iPad into musical instruments. When played Flip it sounded like a magic to me, so I though it would be cool to play like that often, so I practice :)

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.
