Albania is a country in southeastern Europe on the Balkan Peninsula. The national territory borders on Montenegro and Kosovo to the north, North Macedonia to the east and Greece to the south. The natural western border is formed by the coasts of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, making the country one of the countries bordering the Mediterranean. The capital and largest city of the country is Tirana.

Albania is a democratic parliamentary republic. During the central administration economy under dictator Hoxha, who invested almost exclusively in security, and the market economy transformation in the 1990s, Albania was in a very poor economic situation. Since the 2000s, significant steps have been taken to improve the economic and social situation, particularly through growth in the tourism and construction sectors. However, Albania remains one of the poorer countries in Europe. The poverty rate has fallen significantly, but remains high compared to regional standards. There is also high inequality and low provision of public goods. The country is struggling with organized crime and corruption.

The country is a member of the United Nations, NATO, OSCE, Council of Europe, CEFTA, Regional Cooperation Council, Black Sea Economic Cooperation and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Albania has also been a candidate for membership of the European Union since June 24, 2014. It is also a member of the World Trade Organization and the World Bank.

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.
