Eswatini Until 2018, officially Swaziland, traditionally also known as kaNgwane, is a landlocked country in southern Africa with approximately 1.2 million inhabitants. It borders South Africa and Mozambique. Its national holiday is September 6, the anniversary of its independence in 1968. The government is effectively an absolute monarchy. The country's two largest cities are the administrative capital, Mbabane, and the economic center, Manzini. The seat of government is Lobamba.

Romania is a semi-presidential republic in southeastern Europe. The country lies on the Black Sea and stretches westwards across the Carpathian Mountains to the Pannonian Plain. The modern Romanian state was created in 1859 through the unification of the principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia to form the Principality of Romania. With 238,397 km², Romania has the eighth largest area and, with around 19.05 million inhabitants, the sixth largest population of all member states of the European Union. The Romanian capital Bucharest is the eighth largest city in the European Union with 1.71 million inhabitants (as of 2021), just after Warsaw (1.86 million). Other important cities are Cluj-Napoca (Klausenburg), Timișoara (Temisoara), Iași (Jassy), Constanța (Konstanza), Craiova and Brașov (Kronstadt).

Dominican Republic is an island state located on the island of Hispaniola in the Greater Antilles between the Atlantic and the Caribbean. Almost two thirds (63.7%) of it covers the east and center of the island, while the western part belongs to the Republic of Haiti.

The nationals are called Dominicans in German. The Dominican Republic is easily confused with the island of Dominica, which is part of the Lesser Antilles and whose nationals are called Dominicans.

The name of the state is derived from the capital Santo Domingo, which in turn is named after the founder of the Dominican Order, Saint Dominic (Latin Dominicus).

Somalia refers to a federal state on the Horn of Africa in the far east of Africa. The claimed territory borders the Indian Ocean to the east, the Gulf of Aden to the north, Djibouti and Ethiopia to the west, and Kenya to the south. More than 17 million people live there. However, a Somalia within these borders has not existed since 1988 due to the Somali Civil War. By 1991, the northwest seceded and has existed largely stably as the independent de facto state of Somaliland since then, in contrast to the rest of the country, where fighting continues to this day and which is considered a failed state.

The country's name is derived from the Somali people, who form the majority of the population. Somalia emerged from the merger of the colonial territories of British and Italian Somaliland, which jointly gained independence in 1960 ("African Year"). With the overthrow of the authoritarian government under Siad Barre in 1991, Somalia completely collapsed. The transitional governments formed from 2000 onwards under the protection of the international community were largely unsuccessful; at times they were barely able to maintain control of the capital. Large parts of the country fell into the hands of local clans, warlords, or radical Islamist groups, and there was also widespread piracy off the coast of Somalia. In 2012, the majority of the many de facto states that had emerged in the meantime formed a new republic with a joint government under a new constitution in 2012, in which they remain largely autonomous as member states. This federal state exists to this day. However, this government still has no power over Somaliland in the northwest, which is seeking international recognition as an independent state from Somalia. Furthermore, large parts of Somalia, especially in the south, are controlled by the Islamist al-Shabaab (as of February 2024).

Somalia is one of the poorest countries in the world[5][6] and the country with the worst hunger.[7] In February 2023, according to the UN Children's Fund UNICEF, over 6 million people in Somalia were affected by hunger.

Kuwait is an emirate in Western Asia on the Arabian Peninsula. The capital, Kuwait City, is known for its modern architecture, which includes both skyscrapers and the impressive Kuwait Towers, water towers whose shape is reminiscent of the tiled domes of a classical mosque. The Tareq Rajab Museum displays a first-class collection of ethnographic exhibits and Islamic art.

When silence comes

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.
