The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, also known as North Korea, is a country in East Asia that encompasses the northern part of the Korean Peninsula, bordering South Korea to the south along the Demilitarized Zone, and China and Russia to the north along the Amnok and Duman Rivers. The country's capital and largest city is Pyongyang. Other major cities include Nampo, Kaesong, and Rason. Like South Korea, North Korea claims to be the sole legitimate government of Korea.

North Korea is constitutionally a socialist one-party state ruled by the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea. The government system is described as totalitarian by human rights organizations and governments of other countries.

The country's first head of state, Kim Il-sung, used the Korean War and the August Incident to eliminate his political opponents and consolidate his power. After his death, his descendants, Kim Jong-il and Kim Jong-un, continued his tyranny and also adopted his personality cult. It is considered one of the most restrictive internationally recognized states of the present day. In various democracy scales, the country has consistently ranked among the lowest since measurements began. The government has been criticized worldwide for serious human rights violations, and the country is largely isolated internationally.

The Korean Peninsula has been inhabited by humans since the Lower Paleolithic period, and the first settlements date back to the Neolithic period. The first records of statehood appear in the 7th century BC. After the unification of the Three Kingdoms of Korea by Silla and Balhae, Korea was ruled by the Goryeo Dynasty (918–1392) and the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1897). The subsequent Empire of Korea was annexed by Japan in 1910. After the end of the Japanese occupation and Japan's surrender in World War II, Korea was divided into two occupation zones by the Soviet Union and the United States. Attempts at unification failed, and the division hardened along political lines. The Korean War (1950 to 1953) sealed the division of the Korean Peninsula (see Korean Conflict).

Lebanon is a country in Western Asia on the Mediterranean Sea. It borders Syria to the north and east and Israel to the south along the Blue Line. To the west, it is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea. Lebanon is considered part of the Mashreq and the Levant. In 2022, it had a population of approximately 5.5 million, almost half of them in the capital region of Beirut. The next two largest cities are Tripoli in the north and Sidon in the south.

Originally the land of the Phoenicians, Lebanon, like the entire Levant, became part of the empire of Alexander the Great in ancient times, later of the Roman Empire, and during the Islamic-Arab expansion between 634 and 640 AD, part of the Arab world, to which it remains to this day. Its population speaks Arabic and belongs to various Islamic and Christian denominations, with the Christian population being particularly high compared to that in other Arab countries (estimated at just over half of the total population after the founding of the Lebanese state in 1943, today just over 40%).

The 1943 National Pact established a political system in which specific positions and offices were assigned to different religious groups according to a fixed distribution key (religious proportionality). Following an economic boom that earned the country the reputation of being the "Switzerland of the Middle East," lingering tensions between the population groups erupted in 1975 into a civil war that lasted until 1990, during which time the two neighboring states, Syria and Israel, occupied Lebanon. The internal Lebanese front lines ran between Christians, Sunnis, Shiites, Druze, and Palestinians, between right-wing and left-wing forces. Israeli troops withdrew from Lebanon in 2000, and the last Syrian troops withdrew in 2005. Since then, the country's reconstruction has been hampered by its indirect involvement in the region's larger conflicts, such as the ties between Lebanese Shiites and Syria and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as between Lebanese Sunnis and Saudi Arabia. The former Christian dominance has diminished due to emigration, while the influence of the Iran-backed Islamist Hezbollah has grown in recent years.

Since 2019, Lebanon has been mired in a severe economic crisis. The Lebanese state accumulated nearly $90 billion in debt by 2020, and an estimated one-third of the population is at risk of starvation. The food supply situation is strained, partly due to the approximately 1.5 million Syrian refugees, the world's largest proportion of refugees relative to the total population of any country.

Liechtenstein is a landlocked country in the Alpine region of Central Europe and the sixth-smallest country in the world. According to its constitution, it is a principality organized as a constitutional hereditary monarchy on a democratic-parliamentary basis. The House of Liechtenstein provides the sovereign; sovereignty is shared equally between the sovereign and the people.

The Alpine Rhine forms the border between the Alpine countries of Liechtenstein and Switzerland in the west; to the east, the principality borders Austria. The state is divided into two electoral districts and eleven municipalities. The capital and princely seat is Vaduz. The largest town in terms of area is Triesenberg, and the most populous is Schaan. The merged towns of Schaan, Vaduz, and Triesen together form an agglomeration with approximately 17,300 inhabitants. The heavily cultivated north (Unterland) and the less cultivated south (Oberland) characterize the landscape of the principality.

With 40,032 inhabitants, Liechtenstein is the smallest state in the German-speaking world. The official language is German (more details below). The Liechtenstein dialects spoken in everyday life belong to the Alemannic dialect. The proportion of foreigners is approximately 34 percent.

The principality, founded in 1719, was an immediate territory of the Holy Roman Empire until 1806. It subsequently became a member of the Confederation of the Rhine and, from 1815, of the German Confederation, thus gaining sovereignty. Due to the princes' ties to the Habsburg monarchy, Liechtenstein aligned itself with Austria until 1919. Since 1923, the country has been closely linked administratively and economically with neighboring Switzerland through a customs treaty. At that time, the Swiss franc was also introduced as Liechtenstein's currency. These steps had a very positive economic impact, but Liechtenstein's strong economic recovery only began after the Second World War.

Liechtenstein has one of the highest industrial production rates in the world, with approximately 41 percent of gross value added coming from industry and manufacturing.

Like Switzerland, Liechtenstein is a member of the United Nations (UN) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), but not of the European Union (EU); unlike Switzerland, Liechtenstein is a member of the European Economic Area (EEA).

Eritrea is a country in northeastern Africa. It borders Sudan to the northwest, Ethiopia to the south, Djibouti to the southeast, and the Red Sea to the northeast. A quarter of Eritrea's population of almost four million is concentrated in the capital region of Asmara; the other cities are significantly smaller.

The Kingdom of Medri Bahri, with its capital Debarwa and ruled by Baher Negash, was formerly located in the Eritrean highlands. The Eritrean lowlands were an Ottoman and Egyptian colony for more than 300 years, with Massawa as their capital. In 1890, Eritrea became an Italian colony. From 1941, the country was under British administration and, from 1952, was federally united with the then Empire of Abyssinia, before being centrally incorporated into Haile Selassie's Ethiopian Empire as the Province of Eritrea in 1961. After a thirty-year war of independence, Eritrea became independent from Ethiopia in 1993.

Since the Eritrean People's Liberation Front (PFDJ) won its independence, President Isaias Afewerki has ruled the country in an authoritarian one-party system, the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), which emerged from the independence movement. Parties other than the PFDJ are banned, and freedom of expression and the press are severely restricted. Eritrea has neither a parliament nor independent courts. As a result, there have been no national elections in the past 33 years. The country is the only one in the world without a constitution. A strict system of military conscription and forced labor prevails. Serious human rights violations occur regularly. Eritrea is often referred to as "Africa's North Korea." Large numbers of people have fled abroad to escape the regime in the past and continue to do so.

One of my first track played with Korg Gadget app, which became daily prayer. Literally daily. Bast waste of $38 for any music soft, that turned iPhone and iPad into musical instruments. When played Flip it sounded like a magic to me, so I though it would be cool to play like that often, so I practice :)

We Are Different

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years...
