der Track hieß einige Zeit "Noises" und ja das war er auch tatsächlich... irgendwo zwischen allen anderen - lediglich ein paar Wochen als Klingelton fungierend - bekam er in einer wohl speziellen Nacht den nötigen Feinschliff um das unangefochtene Paradestück von MacGyzer zu werden...
selbst das Kopieren des Workflows dieser Nacht hat bislang nicht zu diesem einzigartigen Erfolg geführt...
dennoch glaube ich fest daran dass es das noch nicht gewesen sein kann...

J.Shore: The Night After is my favorite track from the album. The whole creation process was a small, lucky accident. In February 2011 I was listening to Tsuumi's "Growing Up" album (open.spotify.com/track/1vlWVCUS7B3R4vS3dbErkL) and I'm sure something got stuck to our piano themes as well. Lauri Kallio brought the track to the next level with his amazing guitar skills and live strings gave the finishing touch. I wish making new tracks would always be this easy.

Orion: The main inspiration for me was the eerie feeling of Gustavo Santaolalla's amazing track Iguazu (www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1cpR8H0sno). The Silk label guys said The Night After reminds them of Game of Thrones series but I can't get this wild west feeling out of my head when I listen to this. Even though most of the tracks on "Brotherhood" album include live strings and pianos, this is the only one which was combined of live instruments only. No plug-ins, synths or similar here, only digitally produced parts are a couple of effects.

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.
