Nat wrote this beautiful song about the complexities of marriage that can lead to unfair assumptions, where one spouse takes advantage of another based on the “wedding ring”. The words attempt to get through to the guilty party in hopes of easing the burden on her friend and revitalizing the marriage.

I didn't know Lauren, I just read an article about the incident and that triggered the song that I had been considering for a while on road safety 🔆
I should note that the content of the song has nothing to do with the tragic accident but it did remind me to write the song.

Update: At 20:20 (ironically...) If I had the opportunity to sing this to every 18 year old that killed themselves driving a car tooo fast but before they got in the car... This is how I would sing it 10cm from their beautiful faces. Slow down lads!

My best friend Tina was killed tragically by a car. I loved her man. I was 15 just going on 16 and poor Tina was only 16 too. It wasn't the driver's fault and I feel sorry for him too having to live with it. The road is setup safer now which is good.

Rest in Peace Tina. Love you forever ♾️

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.
